Draugar settlement rune puzzle solution in Hellblade 2
The second rune puzzle in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 are you looking for a set of three runes in a settlement wiped out by Draugar. It’s been mentioned Freyslaug, but no one says that in the game. You will encounter the puzzle shortly after finding the slave master on the beach at the end of Chapter 1, ‘Reykjanesta’, and find the village in Chapter 2, ‘Freyslaug’.

Where to find the draugar settlement puzzle runes in hellblade 2

Once you make your way through the village, you’ll come to a rune-locked gate and a hanging body blocking your progress. To get past, you need to find three runes: they look roughly like a backward K, a T-like, and a K.
To find the runes, you have to explore the village and play a bit with perspective.
First Freyslaug rune location

Turn around from the gate and follow the main path through the town back the way you came. The path bends to the right and you will see a body tied to a post. You may notice that it glows red (or maybe it’s paint – at least just paint). A diagonal pole branches out. In the distance you can see another slanted pole leaning in the other direction.
Move away from the body tied to the pole until the perspective lines up and matches the (the rune that looks like a combination of a T and a Y – it’s called algiz). Usage focus by pulling one of the triggers on your controller to lock it.
Second Freyslaug Rune Location

From the first rune, turn around again. As you enter the second house on your right you can swing through it to a road on the right. There is a ledge ahead that we are going to, but we have to travel the long way.

Turn left and follow the road all the way to the end; you go back towards the gate. You enter another house. Snake through here as well and go right when you duck through the second doorway. Go up the wooden ramp and follow the path back the way you came.

When you reach the ledge we saw earlier, look at the rune gate. Use focus again to find the K-shaped rune made from another set of red stakes.
Third Freyslaug Rune Location

Drop off the edge and head back to the center of the settlement. You will pass a burned out area on your left. Go all the way up to the rune gate and then turn left and follow the gate.

At the back of the house, go through the destroyed wall. Go inside and go up the ladder to the right.

When you step onto the platform, take a few steps to the right and then go left to find the final, backward K-rune.
