Dramatic footage shows Ukrainian artillery knocking out dozens of Russian war machines and ending their attack as Putin’s forces slowly gain ground in Donetsk

Dramatic footage captures the moment Ukrainian artillery knocked out dozens of Russian war machines and thwarted their ferocious attack.

The clip, obtained Tuesday by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, shows Russian armored vehicles and other military vehicles being fired upon and destroyed by Ukrainian munitions.

A statement was shared alongside footage of the attack, saying: “The occupiers launched a second attack with 57 armored vehicles to break through the defense of the Tavrian paratroopers in the direction of Kurakhove – the massive Russian attack failed again.”

This comes after Putin’s forces were humiliated just a week ago after a failed attack in the same region reportedly killed 40 invaders and wounded 37.

“The occupiers deployed 10 tanks, 47 armored vehicles with infantry, 10 motorcycles and one buggy in one day,” the statement said.

The Airborne Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released the footage on Tuesday

Ukraine said in a statement that the occupiers launched a second attack with 57 armored vehicles to break through the defense of the Tavrian paratroopers in the direction of Kurakhove.

The dramatic footage captured several Russian vehicles exploding in an orange glow after being fired upon and destroyed by Ukrainian forces.

‘Despite the enormous amount of enemy equipment, all enemy attempts were again defeated: during the battle our soldiers hit 12 armored vehicles, eight Russian tanks, nine motorcycles and the buggy. Thirty-six occupants were killed and another 32 were wounded.

‘These images show the brilliant combat work of our artillerymen, attack drone operators, anti-tank soldiers, sappers and our heroic infantry.

The dramatic footage shows several Russian vehicles driving through a barren landscape before the lead vehicle is attacked.

Within seconds, the vehicle explodes in a thick cloud of smoke after being destroyed by Ukrainian forces.

Another clip shows another Russian military vehicle driving through what appears to be a field, before a body flies out of the moving machine and an explosive is dropped.

“Maimed Russian stormtroopers with torn limbs, feeling the wrath of the Tavrian paratroopers and crawling away from the battlefield in panic – this is what should be shown to all those who still plan to take part in their ‘special military operation,’” the statement said.

‘Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the air assault troops!’

Last week, Ukraine achieved a stunning victory during one of the fierce Russian attacks on multiple parts of the Eastern Front, with troops repelling 29 attacks in Kurakhove alone, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Dmytro Hutsuliak, revealed in an update.

Ukrainian paratroopers destroyed six Russian tanks and seven advancing armored vehicles when they were hit by kamikaze drones, the report said.

The brutal attack reportedly involved 57 armored vehicles, 11 tanks, 12 motorcycles and 200 assault vehicles.

The Ukrainian brigade had spotted the Russian equipment in advance and reacted furiously to the Moscow troops by conducting incessant artillery fire.

According to reports, the Russians also fell into mines placed by Ukrainian sappers.

“As a result of the battle, our paratroopers shot down six tanks and seven armored vehicles with infantry,” the 79th Ukrainian Air Assault Brigade, also known as the Tauride Brigade, said in a statement.

‘All 12 engines burned out.

‘The Russians suffered enormous losses in manpower: 40 crew members were killed and another 37 were wounded.’

But despite Ukraine facing shortages of manpower, ammunition and trenches, Russia has suffered a series of embarrassing setbacks as its massive summer offensive looks set to fail.

Russia suffered a crushing defeat last week in an attack in the Kurakhove area of the Donetsk region, which resulted in the loss of six tanks, seven infantry armored personnel carriers and twelve military motorcycles

Ukraine’s 79th Air Assault Brigade called last week’s Russian attack “one of the largest attacks of the war”

And with just two months left until the end of summer, Russia is still nowhere close to realizing its two greatest ambitions: a major Russian breakthrough or a complete collapse of Ukrainian defenses on the front.

In worrying figures for Russia’s tyrannical President Vladimir Putin, the British Ministry of Defence reported last week that Russia had suffered 1,262 and 1,162 casualties per day in May and June respectively, the highest toll since the Kremlin launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

According to the Ukrainian armed forces, not only are the casualty figures skyrocketing, but Russia’s reported daily losses of artillery systems on Ukrainian battlefields have also reached the highest level in three months.

The Ukrainian military reported Monday that Russia had lost 74 artillery systems in the past 24 hours alone.

Figures from Kiev show that Moscow has lost more than 16,000 artillery systems since the beginning of the conflict.

But the Russian forces continued to advance and make progress, despite their continued losses.

Russian forces reported Tuesday that they have captured a new village during their offensive in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region.

The Defense Ministry said Russia had “liberated” the village of Pivdenne, on the outskirts of Toretsk, a larger city where Russian troops have been advancing in recent months.

According to Ukrainian government estimates, the village had about 1,400 inhabitants before Russia launched a large-scale offensive.

Moscow claims to have captured a string of villages in the Donetsk region in recent weeks, many of which consist of only a few streets.

During their final assault, the troops approach Toretsk, a city once home to some 30,000 people.

The brutal attacks come after the Kremlin said it was open to negotiations with Ukraine on ending the war, in what Moscow calls a special military operation.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on July 24 during a visit to China that Kiev was also ready to talk to Russia, provided that Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity were fully respected. However, he said that Ukraine has not seen any signs of this yet.

Asked a day later whether Russia would be ready to hold talks with Ukraine as long as President Volodymyr Zelensky is in power, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters: “Russia is generally open to a negotiation process.

“But first we need to understand to what extent the Ukrainian side is prepared for this and to what extent the Ukrainian side has permission for this from its leaders.”

Putin said in June that Russia would end the war in Ukraine, but only if Kiev gave up its NATO ambitions.
