Drake feels the birthday love when he turns 36.
The Canadian superstar reposted a clip he received from his son Adonis, five, who sang happy birthday to him, to his Instagram Stories.
Adonis in the clip sat in a booster seat in a vehicle next to his mother, artist-model Sophie Brussaux, who wished Drake a “happy birthday.”

Adonis showed off his musical improv skills in the clip, singing to the tune of Happy Birthday, “Happy birthday daddy, happy birthday daddy, but in my heart, in my heart, I’m gonna grow up.”
In the clip, the son of the God’s Plan artist, whose full name is Aubrey Drake Graham, was dressed in a puffy sky-blue corduroy coat with his curly blonde locks down.

Earlier this month, she wished her son a happy birthday on the social media platform, writing: “I am so proud of the beautiful human being you are becoming. We did a great job @champagnepapi.’

Drake and Brussaux did not post pictures of the child on social media until March 2020. In an interview with Lil Wayne shortly after, Drake explained that “it was great to just share that with the world.”

The musical artist added: “I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son. I don’t want to feel like a life choice I made to be a ‘celebrity’ means I have to let everyone live under this blanket… I just wanted to free myself from that.”
Drake has referenced raising Adonis in his material, including on multiple tracks on his 2021 album Certified Lover Boy.

On the song F***ing Fans, Drake rapped about hearing he was going to be a father, saying, “Then I had a kid, though I never intended to/ I can’t imagine you girls gave you that news. ‘
At the Billboard Music Awards in Los Angeles in May 2021, Drake was named Artist of the Decade and took Adonis onstage to receive the honor. When Adonis began to cry, Drake said to him, “I want to dedicate this award to you.”
