Drake Maye shows no mercy during game of volleyball game against children – as new Patriots quarterback hilariously shows off arm strength

Drake Maye didn’t hold back during a volleyball game with kids as the Patriots’ new quarterback showed off his impressive arm.

Maye, the No. 3 overall pick in this year’s draft, is expected to make his NFL debut under center for the Patriots in the fall.

But the New England passer hilariously showed off his throwing prowess Tuesday as he and his teammates played volleyball against kids.

In one clip, Maye appears to hit a child after hurling the ball at him, prompting an ‘ooh’ from those in the room.

The 21-year-old then raised his hand in apology as he and his teammates couldn’t help but laugh.

Another clip showed Maye hitting his center, David Andrews, and remove him from the game.

Last month, Maye put pen to paper on a fully guaranteed rookie deal worth $36.63 million, which included a $23.46 million signing bonus.

As reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, his contract is for four years with an option for a fifth year.

Maye takes the reins in New England three years after the team selected Mac Jones 15th overall, with the former University of Alabama backing down after a strong rookie season.

The Patriots open their season on September 8 at the Bengals.
