Dragon’s Dogma 2 players can now enable DLSS 3 and Frame Generation thanks to this handy mod

Some Dragon dogma 2 Players with RTX 40 series graphics cards are experiencing performance issues on PC, but this new mod may offer some improvements.

Before the release of Capcom’s open-world fantasy RPG, it was said that the Dragon dogma 2 would be released with DLSS 3However, as players are finding out, that wasn’t the case. Strangely enough, the game’s installation folder does contain the DLSS 3 file for Frame Generation, but is currently not accessible to RTX 40 series GPU owners.

Capcom recently confirmed that it will be making updates to the game to fix the game’s frame rate issues, but has not yet revealed whether it will add DLSS 3 to the game. Luckily, if you’re too impatient to wait, there’s a handy mod to temporarily bypass the problem.

Mud PureDark – perhaps best known for their Starfield mods that added DLSS 3 and Frame Generation to the game are now helping Dragon dogma 2 players with their performance issues by releasing a free mod that aims to address the same issue (via Video gamer).

It is called ‘Dragon dogma 2 DLSS3 Enabler 01′ and can be downloaded PureDark’s Patreon. Created specifically for RTX 40 series GPU owners, this mod enables the game’s hidden DLSS3 implementation, allowing players to enable DLSS and Frame Generation in their game settings.

The added feature should provide players with a significant performance boost and stabilize some stuttering issues, with some users in the comments claiming that it doubles their FPS in cities – places that require more CPU usage – and should reduce GPU load in the city Reduce. wilderness.

It’s important to note, however, that while some players are having positive experiences using the mode, PureDark has said that some people are reporting crashing and freezing issues while Frame Generation is enabled, saying that this is “probably why it’s happening at the launch is hidden”.

“But still many people reported that after hours of playing they had no problems at all, so give it a try and see if you can use FG,” said the Modder. “If not, you will have to wait for the official patch to fix the problem.”

In a separate update, PureDark adds: “Some people have reported that limiting the FPS can reduce the chance of crashing, such as limiting it to 90 in the Nvidia Control Panel. Or you can try limiting it to 60 in-game, and with FG (Frame Generation) it’s actually limited to 120.”

If you’re looking for more mods to make your Dragon dogma 2 experience, there’s already plenty to explore, some of which are specifically designed to work around the limitations of the game’s resources.
