It’s been nearly a decade since we last got a new Dragon Age game, but the wait is finally over this fall. The latest addition to Bioware’s fantasy saga, Dragon Age: The Veil Guardis set to be released on October 31st and is available for pre-order now for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation at various retailers.
The story takes place after the events of Dragon Age: InquisitionThe new entry in the Dragon Age saga places a new emphasis on action, while retaining Bioware’s signature character customization options and colorful cast of companions.
If you’re as excited as we are to return to the realm of Thedas, we’ve listed all the versions of Dragon Age: The Veil Guard that you can pre-order now, where to get it, and what bonuses are included with each edition.
The standard edition of Dragon Age: The Veil Guard doesn’t contain much outside of the game itself, but it does still include some pre-order bonuses. If you pre-order a copy before the October 31st launch date, you’ll get access to the Warrior, Mage, and Rogue Blood Dragon Armor cosmetic set for Rook, inspired by the same armor set found in Dragon Age 2.
You can currently pre-order the basic version of Dragon Age: The Veil Guard for consoles of GameStop, Best buy, PlaygroundAnd Xbox for $69.99. The PC version of the game can be pre-ordered from Steam or Epic for $59.99. While it’s a little odd that the console version costs an extra $10, it’s worth noting that if you pre-order the game from Best Buy, you’ll get a $10 gift card that you can use toward future purchases once the game ships.
Pre-orders of Dragon Age: The Veil Guard The deluxe edition includes everything found in the standard edition, but also gains access to several additional outfit and weapon cosmetics for both Rook and their companions for an additional $10. A full list of differences between both editions, as well as a preview of the included cosmetics, can be found below.
Best Buy The $10 gift card promotion also applies to pre-orders of the $89.99 deluxe edition, but you can also reserve a console copy Dragon Age: The Veil Guard by GameStop, PlaygroundAnd Xbox for $89.99. The $79.99 PC version is also available for pre-order via Steam And Epic.
As the name suggests, the Rook’s Coffer Edition is $219.99 Dragon Age: The Veil Guard is a treasure trove of exclusive collectibles. In addition to all the cosmetic items found in the deluxe version of the game, the Rook’s Coffer Edition also includes the following items.
At this time the Rooks Coffer Edition is only available for pre-order via GameStop; however, the Bioware store also sells a version for $150, which includes all of the aforementioned collectibles but no copy of the game.
