British star Jodie Whittaker has arrived in Australia to work on her first role since leaving Doctor Who.

The actress, who made her last appearance in the iconic BBC sci-fi series in October last year, donned an all-white ensemble while filming at the Malabar Ocean Pool in Sydney last Thursday.

Her blonde hair was neatly parted in the middle as she held her pair of nude heels in one hand as she stood barefoot by the concrete pool.

Whittaker was joined by her Australian co-star Yael Stone, who was seen bathing in the water in a khaki one-piece swimsuit.

Her short brown hair was damp and she had a minimal makeup palette.
