Dr Chris Brown’s shock I’m A Celebrity replacement revealed: Robert Irwin ‘set to join Julia Morris’ in the jungle
Robert Irwin is reportedly ready for a big career change.
The 19-year-old zookeeper is ready to take on the role of Dr. Chris Brown to take over as co-host of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! according to TV black box.
According to the industry site’s ‘trusted sources’, Irwin will join Julia Morris on the Network 10 reality TV series.
The son of late TV star Steve Irwin recently gained experience filling in for Sam Mac as Sunrise weatherman.
Responding to the report, a Network 10 spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia: ‘The guessing game over who is in the jungle is already underway with speculation about who will fill those very big shoes for Australia’s most sought-after hosting gig. ‘

“But you know how this goes, just like the celebrities in the camp, we can neither confirm nor deny rumors of a new jungle host.”
“For now, we’ll just have to keep you hanging until our intimate Upfront event reveals all,” they concluded.
The news comes after it was initially reported that Tony Armstrong would be selected as co-host.
The Logie-winning sportscaster, 33, would replace the handsome vet according to an August report women’s Day magazine.
A source told the outlet that Tony was the complete package when it came to being an on-screen host.
“Let’s face it, Tony is a dreamboat,” they said.
‘He is tall and handsome, and also charming and witty with loads of charisma. He’s the complete package – and ridiculously popular.”

According to the report, Tony’s main competitor was Sam Pang, who was praised for his Logies effort this year.
The source went on to say that while Sam is a “great talent,” he doesn’t have Tony’s appeal to viewers.
‘Tony will work better opposite Julia and she is a big fan of his. I can definitely see her flirting with Tony, just like she did with Chris.”

It comes after Julia Morris Yahoo Lifestyle! last month that the show will run in a “completely different way” following the departure of her co-host after nearly a decade of sharing the screen.
Brown left Channel 10 for more on-screen opportunities at rival Seven.
Julia explained that she is testing her “chemistry” with six potential candidates and that the selection will change the dynamic.
“I will have to put everything from the past behind me,” the 55-year-old told the publication.

“Whoever comes in will want to build that together,” Julia continued.
‘So there is plenty of room for that person, we are curious who that will be.’
Julia added that making the right choice is essential to the future success of the popular reality series.
“Whoever that person is will have a huge effect on whether I work for years to come, so I want it to work,” she said.
