Dr Chris Brown’s first job at Channel Seven has been revealed following his surprise departure from Ten after 15 years.

The 44-year-old celebrity vet will host the network’s reboot of the 1990s entertainment show Man O Man, tv tonight revealed.

Angus Ross, Seven’s chief content officer, said: “Man O Man will be event television when it returns for its 30th anniversary.”

“It has the wow factor, the heart and the humor that we know will captivate viewers across the country. Dr Chris Brown is the perfect host who isn’t afraid to have fun or offer a little word of mouth to a Shetland pony.’

Chris added: “I’m so excited to bring back this flagship show. In challenging times with rising interest rates, housing affordability and climate change, a dip in the Man O Man pool is the perfect antidote. to lighten the mood.It’s Australia’s biggest wet dream.

The Australian television game show, which was screened in 1994 and hosted by Rob Guest, was presented in the format of a male beauty pageant.

The all-female audience would vote for the most handsome man, and the eliminated men would be pushed into a pool.

In February, it was revealed that Chris left Channel 10 after 15 years, becoming the latest high-profile star to jump ship on the struggling network.

He has signed a deal with Seven and will officially join in July to produce ‘new projects’ for Channel Seven and 7Plus.

Chris first joined Ten in 2008 to present Bondi Vet, which became a surprise ratings hit and was syndicated worldwide.

The series of events was based on his real life experience as a veterinarian at Bondi Junction Veterinary Hospital in eastern Sydney.

He then became a part-time panelist on The Project and also co-hosted I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and The Living Room, which was removed last year.

The move to Seven is something of a homecoming for Dr. Chris.

He began his television career in 2003 as the host of Harry’s Practice on Seven, a role that earned him a Logie nomination for Most Popular New Talent.

The University of Sydney graduate never planned to work in the media, but was discovered by a talent scout telling animal stories over a few beers in a pub.

His passion for animals began as a child growing up in Newcastle, where his father Graeme was the local vet.

While working for Seven and Ten, Dr. Chris did a stint on Nine hosting segments for Burke’s Backyard, and was also a contributor to the Today show.
