Dr. Chris Brown “secretly helps Carrie Bickmore negotiate a seven-figure salary” to appear on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
Is Carrie Bickmore preparing to enter the South African jungle?
The Channel 10 star has been off screen since leaving The Project in October, and is reportedly angling for a “seven-figure salary” to star in the upcoming season of I’m a Celebrity. ..Get Me Out of Here!
The 42-year-old has the full support of the show’s host, Dr. Chris Brown, who is a longtime friend of Bickmore and her ex-producer Chris Walker.
Bickmore and Brown have apparently been attending secret meetings with Ten execs since the beginning of the year, with network sources saying producers are willing to pay her “up to $1 million” for the gig, reports New idea.
“It’s about three months of closed-door negotiations at Network 10 and while nothing is set in stone, TV executives are prepared to wait until the very last minute if necessary,” said an insider.

“They threw a lot of money at Carrie to get her on board,” they added.
Snagging Bickmore would be quite the ratings coup given the public interest in her departure from The Project and recent breakup with Walker.
If Bickmore lands a $1 million payday, she will become the second highest paid contestant on the show, after the late cricketer Shane Warne, who earned $2 million for his stint in the jungle in 2016.

Brown has been a source of support for the former couple in recent months.
Last year, the celebrity vet shared a heartfelt goodbye post for Bickmore after she quit The Project.
He was also photographed spending time with a dejected Walker in Byron Bay shortly after Bickmore confirmed the couple’s breakup in January.
