A gang of intruders stole laptops and shoes before stabbing a young doctor to death and leaving him alone in the street after he chased them from his home.
Ash Gordon, 33, was stabbed by a gang of intruders at his home in Doncaster, Melbourne’s east, about 5.30am on Saturday.
Dr. Gordon allegedly chased the thugs, but was rammed off the road in Eildon Street, about 500 meters from his home in Sargent Street.
Frightened neighbors called the police after hearing the commotion as the thieves drove Dr. Leaving Gordon in the street to die, his body being discovered a short time later.
Gordon’s partner told police the heartless thieves stole a few items from the house, including laptops and shoes.

His attackers are still on the run and no arrests have been made. Police are making a public appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
His loved ones described him as a “true gentleman,” which he was ‘humble and deeply loved’.
“Ash was one of the nicest and most humble guys you could meet, regardless of life’s differences, he was always up for a chat and meeting new people,” said Dr. Gordon’s girlfriend, Jovanne Pieterse, told the newspaper. Herald Sun.
“He had an energy that would light up any room, and he was deeply loved by many.”
Dr. Gordon graduated from Monash University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery. From 2016 he worked as a doctor.
He then headed Richmond-based cosmetic clinic Redefine Aesthetics, which specializes in skin health, wellness and anti-aging.
Dr. Gordon described himself online as a “young doctor who lifts weights and loves a good burger.”
His website states: ‘Dr. Ash believes in building strong relationships with his patients, who value honesty and transparency in all aspects of treatment.”
‘He uses shared decision-making when it comes to achieving the patient’s goals and is always willing to tailor treatments to the patient’s wishes.
‘He also provides guidance on the most effective means to achieve the desired results.’

Flowers were left at the crime scene on Sunday, with a note from a friend saying he ‘couldn’t make sense of this’.
‘I’m out of words. A true gentleman, intelligent, honest, compassionate, kind generous. “I don’t think there’s one positive attribute I could leave out,” he said.
‘Gone way too soon brother. I sincerely thank you for everything you have helped me with. Tragic. Rest in peace buddy.’
It is understood that Dr Gordon lived in his rental house for four years.
His flatmate told the Herald Sun that during the robbery he heard a loud ‘bang’ and a group of people talking.
Neighbors reported that in the days before Dr. Gordon heard young people on the street partying.
Residents of Sargent St said Saturday’s incident followed a recent spate of crimes.

In November, an elderly couple discovered their home had been ransacked and all their valuables stolen.
On Wednesday, a woman who lived next door to Dr. Gordon had her car stolen from her garage.
A neighbor said Dr. Gordon’s death was difficult to accept because “no amount of material is worth a life.”
‘It’s quite terrifying to be honest. You don’t really think that’s happening five meters from your door, so it’s a bit confronting,” he said.
