A man accused of mowing down a mother and her fiancé after an argument over dogs on Monday night has posted “I will stab you” on his Facebook page – as witnesses describe how the incident allegedly unfolded.
Mother-of-four Jodie Robertson, 42, and her partner Kurt Saunders, 41, got into an argument with neighbor Corey Porter, 27, on Cygnus Close, Doonside in Sydney’s west, just before 9pm.
Mr Saunders was walking his dog in the street when he and Mr Porter got into an argument, which quickly escalated when Mr Porter allegedly threatened Mr Saunders with an axe.
Mr Saunders returned home before he and Ms Robertson and her 18-year-old daughter then entered into a confrontation Mr. Porter at his home.
Mr Porter initially drove away in his white Ford Territory before later returning. WItnesses saw the couple arguing with Mr. Porter as he sat in his white SUV.
Neighbors told Daily Mail Australia they then saw Mr Porter reverse several times and rev his engine before it allegedly came towards them.

The incident broke out after an argument with neighbor Corey Porter, 27, on Cygnus Close, Doonside in Sydney’s west, just before 9pm.
Mr Porter allegedly rammed into the couple, neighbors claimed, sending Mrs Robertson flying over the hood of the car and onto the pavement.
Her partner is said to have reversed twice before Mr Porter fled the scene.
“I’m still in shock,” 23-year-old Jacklyn Donaldson, who lives next door to Porter, told Daily Mail Australia.
‘We’ve never heard of any problems with either of them.
‘Jodie’s 18-year-old daughter saw it all happen. We just heard her scream.”
Ms Donaldson’s partner Ben Grace, 22, said the pair were in a ‘bad state’.
“She was bleeding from her head and shoulder and his leg was all bloody,” he said.
a GoFundMe was established to support the families of Mrs Robertson and Mr Saunders.
Another neighbor said the scuffle happened after Mr Porter walked his dog on Monday evening.
Mr Porter’s Facebook profile biography warns: ‘I will stab you and anyone who stands in my path or the path of my children (sic)’.
In an April 2023 post, beneath a photo of Mr Porter in a suit, he added: “I will always win. I will not be beaten. You think you’re winning, but I will win the war.
“I made promises and believe me, I will keep them.”

On Tuesday, NSW Police Detective Inspector Darren Newman said Mr Porter caused “significant” injuries to the couple before allegedly fleeing the scene, crashing into a tree along the way.
He got out of his car around the corner from his house and was walking towards the nearby train station when he was arrested.
He is currently assisting police with investigations and is expected to be charged with attempted murder, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, driving offenses and use of weapons with intent to commit an indictable offence.
“This particular incident shows how terribly wrong neighborhood disputes can go,” Det Supt Newman added.
‘These people have lifelong injuries, the man in particular will need significant rehabilitation over many years after what he has been through.’
Ms Grundy suffered serious head injuries, while her partner, who neighbors say was backed up more than twice, is fighting for his life with injuries to his head, chest and leg.

Another said the couple’s daughter saw the incident happen and Mr and Mrs Grundy were in a ‘poor condition’ before being rushed to Westmead Hospital.
Mr Saunders suffered broken ribs, fractures to both his legs and ‘severe’ dislocations to his ankles.
He is undergoing surgery at Westmead Hospital, while his girlfriend is in a stable condition with bruises and head injuries.
Det Spt Newman said the mother’s 18-year-old daughter saw the whole thing happen.
“CCTV footage captured audio of the incident and the scream that occurred shortly after impact was horrific,” he said.
“I imagine she will have ongoing trauma.”
