Singer Donny, 65, rose to fame as a child star with his family band The Osmonds before releasing his first solo song at the age of 14.

Justin, 29, was signed to a record label at the same age after he uploaded videos and was discovered on YouTube.

Donny told the Mirror: ‘I would love to do something with Justin because of the similarities between our two careers.

‘But that all depends on whether the planets align.’

Donny was just six years old when he began performing with four of his brothers in The Osmonds, and the group burst onto the UK music scene eight years after they formed, sparking ‘Osmondmania’.

His fans were so crazy that they were even banned from flying to London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports.

It comes after Justin sold his entire music catalog for more than £162 million.

Hitmaker Never Say Never has closed a deal with Hipgnosis Songs Capital that includes all of his publishing rights, as well as artist royalties from his master recordings and related rights.

The deal is the biggest rights sale for any artist of the singer’s generation and is also the biggest acquisition Hipgnosis, which paid £81m for some of the rights to Justin Timberlake’s catalogue, has made to date, covering the 290 titles of Justin’s recording career. including his most recent album, 2021’s Justice.

Universal Music Group will continue to own the copyright to the recorded music of Justin’s works in perpetuity.
