Donna Kelce has revealed she doesn’t “bother” her sons on game day, although the mother of two NFL stars typically sends them a motivational message the night before.
Donna’s youngest son, Chiefs tight end Travis, will compete in the Super Bowl against the 49ers this weekend, but doesn’t expect to hear from his mother on Sunday
“I try not to bother them on match day, they are a bit busy and I don’t think I can get through,” Donna told the club. TODAY show.
‘I usually try it the night before – I text my sons and give them a little encouragement, send them a funny picture from when they were younger… a little nostalgia.
Last year, Donna was also at the Super Bowl in Arizona when Travis took on the Eagles and his older brother Jason.

Their match became a national talking point, leading to a work-packed journey for Donna, but she’ll be even more down to earth this year.
‘This year I’m going to take it a bit easier, it will be more relaxing. – except the game,” she said. “But I’m going to have a good time, see some shows, go to some great restaurants and hopefully a few parties.
Donna also revealed that she won’t be in a suite during the big game due to the high prices.
“You can understand that the boxes in Vegas are worth millions of dollars, so I feel like I’m not in a box. “I feel like I’m in the stands,” she said.
Suite costs are astronomical for Sunday’s game in Vegas. They range in price from $180,000 for four tickets to $1.8 million for 20 tickets, although those prices have dropped in recent days, at one point reaching as high as $2.5 million.

Travis has a salary of $14 million per year with Chiefs, and earns much more from off-the-field endorsements.
Lately, Donna has been spotted at Chiefs games with Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
Swift and Travis debuted their romance in September and she has been a fixture at his games ever since, despite her busy touring schedule.
She will play four shows in Tokyo this week but is expected to fly back to Vegas for the competition.
