Donald Trump’s FIRST mugshot expected TODAY after his surrender on election fraud charges: The former president prepares to turn himself in at Georgia jail and plans legal team shake up

A historic first will occur today when former President Donald Trump surrenders in a Georgia jail on charges of voter fraud: he is expected to be mugshot.

The former president will leave his home in Bedminster, New Jersey, for Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday afternoon. He will be officially booked and fingerprinted at the Fulton County Jail.

He is then expected to get a mug shot as Fulton County authorities say he cannot expect any special treatment.

The FAA has issued a temporary flight restriction to the airspace around Atlanta’s Fulton County Jail due to a “VIP moment” today from 6:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET.

According to CNN, the ex-president is shaking up the legal team handling his defense in the Georgia case. He replaced attorney Drew Findling with Steven Sadow just hours before leaving for Georgia to surrender.

A stream of nine Trump allies who have entered Georgia jail so far this week have had their police photos released by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis gave Trump and his co-defendants until noon on Friday, August 25, to voluntarily turn themselves over for booking and arraignment.

The 41 charges against Trump and his 18 co-defendants mark the fourth and final charge against the former president. Trump has not had to take a mugshot for his previous three indictments.

‘America’s mayor’ Rudy Giuliani faced the humiliation when he had his mug shot taken Wednesday after he was booked in an Atlanta jail.

In the footage released by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Giuliani can be seen looking straight ahead, with a slight frown, as industrial lighting shines on his forehead and a sheriff’s decal on his right.

The first to turn themselves in on Tuesday were John Eastman and bail bondsman Scott Hall.

Georgia-based attorney Ray Smith and Trump campaign attorney Ken Chesebro were booked Wednesday, along with former Georgia GOP chairman and state legislator David Shafer and former Coffee County GOP chairman Cathy Latham.

Fiery former Trump lawyer known as the “Kraken” Sidney Powell surrendered in Georgia Wednesday afternoon — and had her mugshot released.

Trump attorney Jenna Ellis was also booked and photographed Wednesday. She looked almost giddy in her shot.

Ellis re-tweeted accounts saying she “absolutely owned that mugshot” and “just made the mugshots great again.”

On Monday, the 77-year-old Trump’s bail was set at $200,000 and he was ordered not to post threatening messages on social media.

Sheriff’s officers have stepped up security and erected barriers around the dilapidated prison.

He will have to be fingerprinted, as with other suspects in the notorious prison, and for the first time in his four charges, his mugshot can be taken.

The prison is known for its appalling conditions, although Trump will not be held there while he awaits trial.

He posted on his Truth Social account on Wednesday that he was preparing for his “pride” arrest in Georgia.

“NO ONE HAS EVER FIGHTED FOR ELECTION INTEGRITY LIKE PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP,” the former president wrote on his Truth Social account.

“Because I do, I will be proudly arrested tomorrow afternoon in Georgia. GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!”

While no mug shot has yet been released, Trump’s campaign used a fake photo to raise money for the Fulton County sheriff’s threat. The campaign turned the image into T-shirts to sell.

The former president’s campaign claims $8 million in donations have come in since his first indictment in Manhattan.

Trump’s arrest comes hours after the first Republican presidential debate.

Eight Republican candidates took the stage in Milwaukee on Wednesday night in a high-stakes debate.

Trump refused to attend the debate because he is ahead of all his rivals in the polls by double digits.

The former president instead opted to participate in an interview hosted by Tucker Carlson, which aired five minutes before the debate began.

He said he did not attend the debate because he is “up by 50 to 60 points” in the polls and didn’t want to be “harassed by people who shouldn’t even be running for president.”

The first Republican primary debate descended into chaos Wednesday night, with candidates shouting and clashing over issues from climate change to Jan. 6 to Ukraine funding and Donald Trump.

The debate became so chaotic that Fox News moderator Bret Baier reminded contenders, “We need to reestablish some ground rules. When we hear this bell, your time is up. We appreciate your aggressiveness here. 30 seconds is 30 seconds.”

Towards the end of the night, as the screams continued as the candidates launched a lightning round of questions, Nikki Haley begged the moderators, “You need to take control of this debate.”
