Donald Trump’s ex aide Alyssa Farah Griffin urges TAYLOR SWIFT to run for PRESIDENT – claiming popstar is the ‘only person’ who can ‘defeat him once and for all’

The View’s Alyssa Farah Griffin has declared Taylor Swift the “only person” who can “beat” Donald Trump as she took a subtle swipe at her former boss.

Alyssa, 34, served as director of strategic communications and White House aide during Trump’s presidency in 2020 – but no longer supports the businessman and recently confirmed she would never vote for him.

On the latest episode of The View: Behind The Table podcast, Alyssa said Taylor, 33, “needs to get in the race” for president.

She was discussing Taylor’s alleged romance with footballer Travis Kelce when she made fun of the Bad Blood hitmaker.

“This ends one way: we’re all Taylor Swift fans and to be honest, if Donald Trump looks like he’s going to win, she’s just going to have to join the race and beat him once and for all because she is probably the only person who can!’ she laughed.

The pop superstar is no stranger to exerting her influence. Last month, she successfully encouraged thousands of people to register to vote on National Registration Day after urging her 272 million Instagram followers.

According to the nonprofit, nonpartisan Vote.org, her advocacy has helped register more than 35,000 new voters on the site.

Her blossoming romance with Travis has been a hot topic of conversation on The View, but Whoopi Goldberg and Sara Haines have made it pretty clear that they’re not interested.

“I had to hold back how excited I was about this topic so as not to scare off other people at the table,” Alyssa said. ‘I love it!

“Taylor Swift is like… this is what I like about it: it could be a fling, it could be anything, but she always has dated actors or musicians who kind of fit the same mold, so dating a professional athlete is completely different and I think it makes sense to go for something off the beaten path because she hasn’t always been successful in love.”

She added, “I’m here for it! If it’s a way to get people – who might not play sports – involved in the game, I think that’s good for everyone. Taylor deserves love and I love it when she gets her girl entourage together.”

Her comments were in stark contrast to Whoopi, who admitted on Monday’s show that she “doesn’t care” about the alleged couple and will continue to watch football whether Taylor is “in or not.”

There has been a lot of buzz surrounding Taylor’s performance at Sunday night’s game, where she watched Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis play from a star-studded suite alongside her famous friends – Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner and Hugh Jackman – as his team played the took on the Jets.

However, Whoopi said she didn’t understand why it was such a big deal and asked the panel: “Why is this so extraordinary?” as she purposefully mispronounced Travis’ last name.

Fellow panelists Alyssa, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines had a lot to say on the subject – as the latter claimed that Taylor’s latest romance is one big ‘publicity stunt’.

Sara Haines previously claimed that Taylor’s alleged new romance is a “publicity stunt.”

During an episode of The View: Behind the Table podcast last week, Sara didn’t hold back, claiming that she “doesn’t care” who Taylor dates — and also took a clear swipe at her “expensive concert tickets.”

The mother of three explained that she can normally talk about any topic on the ABC program, but said she won’t participate if she simply doesn’t care.

Referring to Taylor and Travis, she told Brian, “This is a PR stunt, this whole thing, and I’m just not that into it because it feels like you’re giving vent to a publicity stunt and she doesn’t need it. more expensive concert tickets that are hard to get, as if she is good, as if we are good!’
