Donald Trump’s doctor says he is in ‘excellent health’ and his cognitive level is ‘exceptional’ as glowing medical letter says he has also lost weight

  • The former president published a letter from his doctor
  • The letter was from Dr. Bruce Aronwald of New Jersey
  • It said the 77-year-old would be healthy for “the coming years.”

Donald Trump released a letter from his doctor on Joe Biden’s 81st birthday giving him an “excellent” bill of health.

The 77-year-old former president posted the note from New Jersey-based Dr. Bruce Aronwald saying he had lost weight and his cognitive exams “were exceptional.”

Trump’s Republican rivals in the presidential race, and the White House, are beginning to view his age as a factor in his 2024 run.

Now Trump has hit back, sharing a glowing review from his doctor, saying diets and “daily physical activity” have paid off, and he can expect to live for “years.”

Donald Trump has released a letter from his doctor saying he has an “excellent” bill of health on Joe Biden’s 81st birthday.

“I have been President Donald J. Trump’s personal physician since 2021,” Aronwald wrote.

‘During this time I have carried out several comprehensive examinations, the most recent of which was on September 12, 2023, and have overseen specialist consultations, along with additional testing for screening and preventative health maintenance.

“I am pleased to report that President Trump’s overall health is excellent. His physical examinations were well within the normal range and his cognitive examinations were exceptional,” he wrote.

‘Additionally, his most recent comprehensive laboratory analysis remains well within normal limits and was even more favorable than previous testing on some of the key parameters, most likely secondary to weight reduction.’

Trump’s weight was last in the headlines when he was arrested and had his mug shot taken at the Fulton County Jail in Georgia.

He said he weighed 215 pounds, a drop of 25 pounds since his arrest in Manhattan four months earlier.

His most recent weight is lower than what White House physician Dr. Sean Conley, reported in 2020 when he said Trump weighed 244 pounds during a physical exam.

When Trump was physically examined by former White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson – now a Trump loyalist member of the House of Representatives from Texas – Trump’s height was listed as 6 feet 4 inches and a weight of 239 pounds.
