Donald Trump wins Wisconsin in stunning victory over Kamala Harris in the swing state

Donald Trump has won the swing state of Wisconsin with a stunning victory over Kamala Harris.

He took victory in the ‘Blue Wall’ state in the Midwest after sweeping North Carolina, Georgia and Pennsylvania.

His win in Wisconsin puts him over the 270 Electoral College votes needed to capture the presidency.

The “Badger State” was considered a toss-up in 2024, with neither Donald Trump nor Kamala Harris expected to get the ten Electoral College votes up for grabs.

According to polling averages, Trump was ahead of Harris by nearly three points in the week leading up to the election.

Trump and Harris have both spent much of their time in Wisconsin in recent months.

The ex-president made his first public appearance since he was shot in the ear in Butler, Pennsylvania, at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on July 13, just two days later.

During his speech at the Republican National Convention, he raised a fist to the crowd, his ear covered with a large white bandage.

The former president has a complicated relationship with Milwaukee after being criticized for calling it a “terrible city” the week before the convention.

“Milwaukee, where we have our convention, is a terrible city,” he told Republicans in Congress.

But Trump’s relationship with Wisconsin didn’t seem to take a hit after those comments.

Most recently, he was rallying in Green Bay, Wisconsin, home of the Packers, with legendary quarterback Brett Favre.

He tricked Joe Biden and Kamala Harris into driving a MAGA garbage truck to that rally, in response to Biden’s comments calling his supporters “garbage.”

The former president rolled up to reporters on the tarmac in Green Bay and leaned out the window to answer questions ahead of his event in the battleground state.

‘What do you think of my garbage truck? This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden,” he told the waiting media while wearing an orange workman’s vest.

“For Joe Biden to make this statement — it’s really a shame,” he added before speaking to supporters as Harris addressed her own fans in another part of the state.

Trump referred to 81-year-old Biden’s comments calling his supporters “trash.”

He returned to Milwaukee three days ago for a matchup with Harris.

Trump spent his Friday evening speaking at a Milwaukee arena where the NBA’s Bucks play — the same venue where the RNC was sprayed — while Harris was on the road and brought out special guest Cardi B, who faced an awkward teleprompter accident.

The Senate race in Wisconsin also proved to be one of the most watched races in the country.

Incumbent Democrat Tammy Baldwin got a run for her money from Trump-backed Eric Hovde.

She was forced to read her message of support for the vice president on her phone.
