Donald Trump is “angry and irritated” that Vice President Kamala Harris has stolen the campaign’s limelight and aides fear his inflammatory comments about her race will hurt his election chances, sources say.
Harris’ expected nomination has turned the presidential race on its head, creating a major shift in the polls compared to when President Joe Biden was the Democratic nominee and Trump held a significant advantage in swing states.

Trump’s campaign is trying to attract black voters, but political strategists fear he will isolate them if he continues to attack Harris on his identity.
Scott Jennings delivered a blunt assessment on CNN NewsNight when host Abby Phillip asked him about the strategy behind Trump’s claim that the vice president “just happened to turn black” a few years ago.
