Donald Trump unveils new line of signed gold watches… and they’re going for an eye-popping amount
Time is money, former President Donald Trump is betting as he launches a new branded watch sale in the final weeks of his presidential campaign.
Trump, who has also sold gold sneakers, NFTs and even Bibles this election campaign, announced “my new Trump watches” on Truth Social on Wednesday.
“I make quite a few watches, and the quality is very important to me,” he said, hoping that many of his online followers and political fans will rush to buy one.
The ‘Trump Victory Tourbillon’ watch he is selling contains 200 grams of gold and ‘more than 100 genuine diamonds’ – with a price to match, each selling for $100,000
‘That’s a lot of diamonds. I like gold. I like diamonds. We all do,” Trump said in a video ad.
The watch is nicknamed “Trump” in the center and features a “Swiss made” label, as well as a window showing the mechanism, although an advertisement depicting the watch sits on the stars of an American flag.
His advertisement reveals no further details about the production, design or origin of the diamonds.
The images in its promotional video “are for illustrative purposes only and may not be an exact representation of the final product,” a disclaimer warns. It says they are “intended solely as collectibles for individual enjoyment.
The “Trump Victory Tourbillon” promoted by the former president costs $100,000
‘Would make a great Christmas present. Don’t wait, they’ll go soon,” Trump told his nearly 8 million followers, hoping MAGA fans would snap them up.
Part of the video touts “exquisite Swiss craftsmanship” and says it features a TX07 Tourbillon movement.
Trump promoted the watches on the day that John Sauer, one of his lawyers, appealed his stunning $454 million fine in his New York fraud case in a New York courtroom. He has collected an astonishing $24 million in interest during the appeal, at a rate of about $1 million every nine days.
Trump made a personal pitch for a new line of Trump watches
The Tourbillon movement, designed by Breguet, attempts to counteract the effects of gravity with a rotating cage that houses the small springs and wheels that allow a watch to keep time.
The most expensive example for sale on a website costs $100,000. The watch has ‘almost 200 grams of 18 carat solid gold’ and 122 VS1 diamonds.
Trump says that “only 147 of these extraordinary watches will ever exist in the world.” It can also contain a ‘personalized message’. The one pictured says, “JAMES, LET’S THINK BIG!” and contained Trump’s signature.
‘Limited’ numbered watches start at $499, while a specialized gold version costs $100,000

Fine print in the online ad says they are manufactured by thebestwatchesonearth LLC under a paid licensing agreement. It says the watches are “not political and have nothing to do with any political campaign.”
That could be said of several of Trump’s recent business offers, which are unusual in presidential politics.
Last month, Trump introduced World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency venture.
Each watch comes with a signed letter
“Crypto is one of those things we have to do,” Trump wrote on X. “Whether we like it or not, I have to do it.” He has been a critic of crypto in the past, but has recently embraced it. At that company his sons Don Jr. and Eric Trump involved.
In February, he started selling $399 worth of gold sneakers at “Sneaker Con.” They are gold high-tops sold under the name ‘Never Surrender High-Tops.’
He also sells $99 digital trading cards, many of which depict him as a superhero.
He even sells Trump Bibles for $59.99.
Trump says he’s going to keep a gold watch — though he’s probably not planning to buy himself a traditional retirement gift as he tries to win back the White House.
‘I have watch Number One, and I’m going to keep it. It’s mine, and that’s how I want it to be.’ He says each watch is numbered and is a “true collector’s item.”
Not everyone on his Truth Social website agreed. “Every few days he throws another piece of junk and you fools fall for his scam. This is embarrassing,” one commenter wrote in a popular post.
‘What now? Chip clips and beer biscuits?’ wrote another.
