Donald Trump shares post of AI generated images claiming Taylor Swift and her fans are backing him for 2024
Donald Trump has been sharing AI-generated posts on his social media platform Truth Social, showing he has gained the support of Taylor Swift and her fans.
Trump shared messages last night with deepfakes of women wearing shirts that read “Swifties For Trump.” He also posted a poster of the singer dressed as Uncle Sam, urging her fans to vote for the Republican candidate.
“I accept,” the 78-year-old former president wrote on the platform, though it is unclear whether his comment was referring to the AI-generated crowd of “Swifties” — the term used to describe the pop star’s fans — or to Swift’s fake endorsement.
Swift, 34, has not yet endorsed a candidate for the 2024 presidential election, but she is highly unlikely to back Trump, whom she has previously targeted. She said she was “completely surprised” by his 2016 victory and vowed ahead of the 2020 election that “we will vote you out in November.”
The Anti-Hero hitmaker is also believed to be among the Hollywood A-listers who could appear at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago this week. CNN reported. There are still two shows left on the London leg of her Eras Tour, but Swift could theoretically head to Illinois for the final nights of the convention.

Two of the photos in Trump’s Truth Social post are reportedly legitimate, Wisconsin at the moment reported.
Jenna Piwowarczyk, a 19-year-old Trump supporter who is also a fan of the singer, reportedly wore a “Swifties for Trump” shirt at a campaign rally in Wisconsin.
However, it does not appear that there is actually a large “Swifties for Trump” following, as evidenced by the AI-generated photos, which were clearly labeled “satire.”
Trump last night doubled down on claims that he was gaining Swiftie support by sharing a video of an apparent MAGA fan saying that the “Swifties woke up” after a failed terror plot resulted in the cancellation of the Austrian leg of the Eras Tour. It is unclear whether the video is authentic.
The Swifties have mobilized to show their support for Vice President Kamala Harris. The @Swifties4Kamala X account has already reached over 60,000 followers.
The pop star, who supported Joe Biden in the 2020 race, is expected to throw her support behind Harris.
While her attendance at the DNC has not yet been confirmed, speculation is rife that the Love Story singer will perform at the event.

The Democratic National Committee has apparently already paid tribute to Swift by announcing stations where DNC attendees can make friendship bracelets, which Swifties will exchange at concerts and fan gatherings.
Harris’ campaign has also reached out to the co-founders of the Swifties for Kamala group, who told CNN that the vice president’s camp “reached out to us asking how they can support our initiative.”
Irene Kim, who co-founded the group with fellow Swiftie Carly Long, said she was also invited to the DNC as a content creator but was unable to attend the event.
While Swift’s presence will certainly be felt at the DNC, multiple sources have told the network that “the search for keynote speakers is still ongoing.”
Before the 2016 election, Swift kept her political affiliations secret, leading some to suspect she was secretly a Republican.
But during the 2018 midterm elections, Swift strongly supported Tennessee Democrats, including Senate candidate Phil Bredesen and House candidate Jim Cooper.
She explained it this way in a post on Instagram at the time: ‘I used to be reluctant to publicly express my political views, but due to various events in my life and in the world over the past two years, I now feel very differently about that.’
“I have always voted based on the candidate who will protect and fight for the human rights that I believe we all have a right to in this country,” she added.

Swift previously said she was “completely surprised” by Trump’s 2016 victory and vowed in a tweet ahead of the 2020 election that “we will vote you out in November”
In 2020, the Blank Space singer expressed his full support for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
“I will proudly vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in this year’s presidential election. Under their leadership, I believe America has a chance to begin the healing process it so desperately needs,” she said in an interview with V Magazine ahead of the election.
She also tagged Trump in an X-post smearing him: ‘After fanning the flames of white supremacy and racism for your entire presidency, you now dare to act morally superior before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts, the shooting starts’??? We’ll vote you out in November.’
In her 2020 documentary “Miss Americana,” Swift further elaborated on her decision to speak publicly about politics, saying, “I have to be on the right side of history.”
“These aren’t your father’s celebrities and these aren’t your father’s Republicans,” Swift said.
Swift is a staunch ally of the LGBTQ community. She also criticized the United States Supreme Court after it overturned Roe v Wade, ending the constitutional right to abortion in 2022.
The New York Times reported earlier this year that Joe Biden’s campaign was actively seeking Swift’s endorsement.
Trump has also questioned whether Swift is a “legitimate liberal” or if it’s all a sham.

The former president discussed the megastar in an interview for ‘Apprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass,’ by Variety co-editor-in-chief Ramin Setoodeh — which was released in June.
When asked in November 2023 what he thought of the “Shake it Off” singer, the ex-president was full of praise for the billionaire.
“I think she’s beautiful — very beautiful! I think she’s very beautiful,” Trump told the author. He also said, “I hear she’s very talented” and “I think she’s very beautiful, actually — unusually beautiful.”
But the Republican presidential candidate suspected the admiration wasn’t mutual. He said: “I think she’s a liberal. She probably doesn’t like Trump.’
During Trump’s interview for the book, he also questioned whether Swift is truly liberal, despite her public expressions of support in recent years.
“She’s a liberal, or is that just an act?” Trump asked. “She’s a legitimate liberal? It’s not an act?”
He added: “It amazes me that a country star can be successful while being a liberal.”
