Donald Trump shares surprising opinion on what he thinks Biden should do after disastrous debate performance
Donald Trump has shared his surprising take on what he thinks President Joe Biden should do after his disastrous performance at last week’s debate.
The former president, 78, wrote on his website Truth Social on Saturday that he believes his rival, 81, should not listen to the many Democrats who want him to withdraw and instead stay in the race for the White House.
‘The corrupt Joe Biden must ignore his many critics and continue his powerful and far-reaching campaign with vigor and vigor,’ Trump wrote.
“He has to be sharp, precise and energetic, just like he was in The Debate, when he was selling his policies…” the former president continued sarcastically.
He then listed what he saw as Biden’s policies, including “Open Borders” (where millions of people, including [a] record numbers of terrorists are allowed into our country, from prisons and mental institutions, completely unchecked and uncontrolled!), ending social security, men competing in women’s sports, high taxes, high interest rates, encouraging a woke army, out of control inflation, record breaking crime, electric vehicles only, subservience to China and other countries, endless wars, putting America last, losing our dollar based standard and much more.’

Trump, 78, listed what he called Biden’s policies, which he said are destroying the United States
“Yes, Sleepy Joe must continue his campaign of American destruction and MAKE CHINA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump concluded.
Biden has faced calls from his party members to withdraw from the presidential race since his disappointing performance at the CNN debate on June 27. Even the New York Times and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution published op-eds along these lines.
There is also a movement in the Senate — led by Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia — to have Democrats in the upper chamber push to oust Biden in favor of a younger candidate.
But Biden remained steadfast, saying in a fiery speech in Madison, Wisconsin, on Friday: “I’m staying in the race.”

Democrats are also pushing to remove the president as the party’s nominee
In an attempt to convince the nation that he is still mentally strong enough to run the country, the president spoke one-on-one with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos.
When asked by Stephanopoulos about his performance during the debate, Biden blamed it on “exhaustion” and “being sick,” even claiming he should have gotten tested for COVID before the debate.
“The whole way I was preparing, it was nobody’s fault, mine. Nobody’s fault but mine,” the president said, before giving a rambling explanation.
“I — I was preparing what I normally would do when I got back with foreign leaders or the National Security Council for explicit details. And I realized — halfway through that, you know, all — I’m quoted by the New York Times tearing me down, ten points before the debate, now nine, or whatever it is.
“The fact is, and I looked at what he said, he lied 28 times,” he said of Trump.
“I couldn’t – I mean, the way the debate went was not – my fault, and nobody else’s fault,” he continued.
Biden has insisted he is not dropping out of the White House race
But his performance during the interview could not convince even members of his own party that he has the mental strength needed for another four years.
Words like “heartbreaking,” “damned” and “fucking disaster” were all used by more than half a dozen Democrats in Congress, according to NBC.
Rep. Angie Craig of Minnesota, who is fighting for her seat in the crucial state, was so uncertain that she became yet another elected Democrat to call for Biden’s withdrawal.
“There is only a short period of time left in which we can make sure we have a candidate who is best equipped to make the case and win,” Craig told the Washington Post.
“Given what I saw and heard from the President last week at the debate in Atlanta, and given the lack of a strong response from the President himself after that debate, I do not believe the President can campaign effectively and win against Donald Trump.”
Craig is now the fifth incumbent Democrat to call on Biden to withdraw, while another 13 members of Congress and governors have expressed concern, according to the outlet’s tally.
A Democratic lawmaker who previously supported Biden also told NBC that they will break their silence on Biden’s fate “soon.”
“It made me sad,” they said of Biden’s interview. “Completely detached from reality and isolated from the truth.”
First Lady Jill Biden is said to be lashing out at Democrats who question whether the president is mentally fit to serve another four years
But First Lady Jill Biden reportedly lashed out at those Democrats.
She is believed to be the driving force behind Biden’s push to stay in the race, calling Vogue magazine and insisting he will continue to fight for the White House.
‘[We] will not let those 90 minutes define the four years [Joe’s] president. We will continue to fight,” Jill, 73, told the magazine in an interview published later this week.
One source even claimed that the First Lady ‘… [the] ‘ultimate influence’ on her husband.
‘If she decides that a change of course is necessary, then a change of course will happen.
“The decision-makers are two people: the president and his wife,” the source added.
“Anyone who does not understand how deeply personal and familial this decision is has no knowledge of the situation.”
Biden’s top advisers also reportedly urged his staff to remain strong in meetings, proclaiming the mission statement: “We will weather the storm, just as we always have.”
