Donald Trump pledges to jail Mark Zuckerberg for life if Facebook ‘illegally’ influences US election
Donald Trump has vowed to give Mark Zuckerberg a life sentence if Facebook “illegally” influences the US election.
The former president said the social networking site’s founder “will spend the rest of his life in prison” if there is any interference.
In new book, Trump said he was ‘keeping an eye on him’ [Zuckerberg] ‘shortly before the presidential election in November’.
The book, called Save America, was written by Trump and is described as a “coffee table book.”
The book, due out next week, will feature anecdotes from his chaotic time in the White House, as well as his reflections on the world.

Trump claims in a new book that Zuckerberg (pictured) hatched a “plot against the president” while in the White House.
Trump says that when he was president, Zuckerberg visited him regularly and “brought his lovely wife to dinners, and was as nice as could be.”
But Trump claims that Zuckerberg was actually plotting “against the president.”
He writes: ‘He told me there was no one like Trump on Facebook. But at the same time, and for whatever reason, he sent it to me.
“We are watching him very closely, and if he does anything illegal this time, he will spend the rest of his life in prison — just like others who cheat in the 2024 presidential election.”
After Trump made unsubstantiated claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him, he was suspended by Facebook and Instagram.
Both are owned by Mr. Zuckerberg’s parent company, Meta. He was allowed to work on both platforms again in January of last year.
