Donald Trump Jr. says ‘I didn’t know Tim Walz was a woman…’ after J.D. Vance accused of ‘mansplaining’ in VP debate

Donald Trump Jr. attacked Tim Walz after an MSNBC host accused JD Vance of “mansplaining” during the vice presidential debate.

The bizarre claim that Vance was “mansplaining” came from MSNBC host Nicole Wallace.

During the debate, Vance spoke at length about Kamala Harris’ immigration history and the administration’s use of the CBP One app for migrants before his microphone was dramatically muted by the CBS anchors.

He was interrupted mid-sentence as he explained the process by which illegal immigrants can obtain temporary legal status through the CBP One app.

“I actually think if you’re a woman, this might be the worst moment that JD Vance has had, because he started talking right before that mute button,” Wallace told her fellow panel, which consisted of mostly women.

But Trump Jr. turned to X to suggest that if Vance is guilty of “mansplaining” against Walz, the Democratic governor should not be a man.

MSNBC host Nicole Wallace accused Republican VP candidate JD Vance of “mansplaining” as she spoke in detail about Kamala Harris’ immigration policies before the CBS News anchors moderating the debate turned off his microphone.

“I didn’t know Tim Walz was a woman…I guess you never know these days,” the former first son posted on X.

Trump Jr. apparently took to MSNBC for insinuating that Walz was being “mainsplained” by Vance.

He suggested the Democratic governor couldn’t understand it as Vance blasted the White House’s controversial immigration policies.

Vance’s detailed analysis of how migrants use a cellphone app called CBP One, created by the Biden-Harris administration to enter the country, did not appeal to Wallace, she said.

The MSNBC host also indicated that powerful women — who command respect because of their authority — would be upset by Vance’s explanation.

“I think a lot of women in positions of authority who should command respect just because of that dynamic will see themselves in a guy who disrespected them and talked about him. [them]Wallace said.

Vance put the spotlight on the immigration issue when the CBS anchors fact-checked a claim about Haitian immigrants in Ohio, a storyline that Vance made headlines weeks ago when he said pets and animals were being eaten there.

The Ohioan pushed back, telling the hosts that they said they wouldn’t fact-check the candidates and that they had broken their own rules.

“Since you fact-checked me, I think it’s important to say what’s actually going on,” Vance interrupted the CBS hosts after they tried to correct him after saying they wouldn’t.

Vance then explains how migrants from around the world are using the app to get taxpayer-funded flights to the US

He also explained how the app was created by the current government under Harris’ purview and has facilitated untenable migration conditions.

Then Vance couldn’t be heard.

“Sir, your audience can’t hear you because your microphones are dead,” CBS News anchor Margaret Brennan said.

Eventually, the Republican’s microphone was turned back on and the debate continued.
