Donald Trump Jr says his dad could choose TUCKER CARLSON to be his vice presidential running mate if he wins 2024 GOP nomination

Donald Trump Jr. said his father could choose Tucker Carlson as his vice presidential running mate if the former president wins the 2024 Republican nomination.

Don Jr. said the former Fox News host agrees with his father “on everything” and would be “definitely a contender” to be chosen as vice presidential candidate.

β€œDon, is your dad Tucker Carlson serious? Are those rumors serious?’ anchor Rob Finnerty further asked Newsmax’s Wake Up America on Thursday morning.

β€œThat would clearly be on the table, right? I mean, they’re very friendly, I think they agree on pretty much all of this stuff,” Don Jr. said.

‘I’d like to see that happen. That would definitely be a contender,” the former president’s eldest son said, adding that Trump and Carlson agree on “ending the never-ending war.”

Don Jr. also said he wouldn’t rule out Florida Governor Ron DeSantis because he has been “a leading candidate.”

‘You need someone who is on the same page, but who is also aggressive. You actually need a fighter,” Don Jr. said.

‘The Republicans in Washington DC are weak. You can have the House and the Senate, and they will still change.”

Don Jr. also mentioned other names, including Sen. J.D. Vance, who he said was β€œmainly aligned (with his father) and also aggressive.”

He also appeared to endorse Ben Carson, who served as Trump’s housing secretary and supported his presidential campaign last year.

The only person Don Jr. would not like to see is Nikki Haley, the former UN ambassador and Trump’s rival.

“I would do anything I could to make sure it wasn’t Nikki Haley.” he said. β€œI don’t think that’s really on the table right now. That’s my opinion, I don’t make these decisions.’

Don Jr. also declined to call Haley a Republican during Thursday’s show, saying, “I think she’s funded by the Democrats, right?” I mean, you can see that.”

β€œShe has Democratic mega-donors bankrolling her campaign. The people who get her wins in New Hampshire are all Democrats.”

β€œSo I probably see that as part of that kind of globalist Democrat, RINO tactic to drag this out to make it harder for Trump to win a general,” he added.

The former president just defeated his Republican rival DeSantis, Haley And Vivek Ramaswamy has won a landslide victory in the Iowa caucuses.

It gives Trump a major boost as he tries to clinch the Republican presidential nomination and return to the White House in what would be the most remarkable political comeback in American history.

β€œI feel great,” Trump told Fox News. ‘I am extremely honored by such an early call. It’s really an honor that a few minutes later they announce that I have won.’

He added; ‘I really feel strengthened and strong for our country. We want to make America great again – the best slogan ever – and the fact is that we have done that.

‘We’re going to do it all again soon. We are going to restore our border and we are going to do it, and we are going to do it quickly.”

On Wednesday, he assured New Hampshire voters that he is fit for office, trying to sway Granite State voters just five days before the primary.

Trump claimed his 2024 rival Haley is relying on left-leaning independents and Democratic voters in New Hampshire to change their registration to vote for her in the Republican primary on Tuesday to foil his bid.

Haley has seen an increase in the polls in New Hampshire in recent weeks. Some surveys place her within single digits of Trump β€” and one from earlier this month puts the two tied at 40 percent each.

The former president also predicted that DeSantis will drop out of the 2024 race “very soon.”

The Iowa caucuses on Monday produced a disappointing second-place finish for DeSantis, who trailed the ex-president by 30 points. Haley came in third with 19.1 percent of the vote.

New Hampshire is a much more liberal state than Iowa, where Trump walked away with 51 percent of the vote in Monday’s caucuses.

The Republican presidential primaries will be held for the second time in New Hampshire on January 23 – just over a week after the first caucuses in Iowa.

According to the New Hampshire Secretary of State’s website, undeclared and independent voters can cast ballots in Republican primaries as long as they decide in advance to participate in those primaries.

Democrats could also switch affiliations before the primaries, a strategy some say is being used to prevent Trump from winning the state.
