Donald Trump is considering making Kimberly Guilfoyle his ambassador to Greece

According to multiple sources, Donald Trump is considering appointing former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle as his ambassador to Greece.

Guilfoyle, 55, studied international law and entered public life as a prosecutor in San Francisco and Los Angeles, but ended up in Trump’s orbit as the fiancée of the president-elect’s son, Don Jr.

Insiders said the president could think of no one better to represent him in an important post.

But the announcement was expected hours after DailyMail.com published photos of Don Jr. who turned in to a Palm Beach socialite amid reports he was moving on.

‘There are a lot of people fighting about this. It is one of the most popular posts in the world,” said a source familiar with the president-elect’s thinking.

“Not just because it’s a great place to live, but because it’s a hotbed of activity with everything that’s happening in Syria, across the Middle East, and the migrant crisis.”

They added that, aside from her relationship with Don Jr., Guilfoyle had known Trump for 20 years, and had raised hundreds of millions of dollars for his campaigns.

“He wants her to represent him on the world stage,” they added.

‘She studied international law and will be a great spokeswoman for Donald Trump.

“She’s going to be the Jackie O of the MAGA movement.”

Guilfoyle served as an assistant district attorney in San Francisco from 2000 to 2004.

But it was her marriage to Democratic politician Gavin Newsom that captured the public’s attention when she was first lady of San Francisco during his first two years as that city’s mayor.

Insiders said that experience would help her cope with the demands of serving as Trump’s representative abroad.

Guilfoyle was an energetic campaigner for Trump and appeared on stage with the family at the election night party in West Palm Beach.

She spoke about foreign policy during her convention speech in Milwaukee.

She appeared with other members of the Trump family in their box at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in July.

“In our vision, America will fight foreign aggressors and ensure that our service members are protected and not abandoned as they carry out their dangerous missions abroad, because we know that only through strength can we achieve peace,” she said in July.

But the arrangement comes because her fiancé Don Jr. has been repeatedly photographed with 38-year-old Bettina Anderson in Palm Beach, suggesting his six-year engagement to Guilfoyle is over.

It means that she will probably exchange her life in Florida for Jefferson House, the residence of the US ambassador in the Greek capital Athens.

It comes with a backyard swimming pool and ample reception space to host hundreds of dignitaries.

It is named after Thomas Jefferson, who considered Greek democracy the most important influence on the founding of the American republic.
