Donald Trump infuriates Taylor Swift fans by launching new range of merchandise ‘inspired’ by Eras tour

Donald Trump has angered Taylor Swift fans by launching a new merchandise line that appears to be inspired by the Eras tour.

In a post that went viral on X, TeamTrump, the official account of the Trump campaign, promoted their new “Trump Era shirt.”

The front of the white T-shirt features a collection of colorful images of the former leader during different moments of his presidency.

In the center is a black-and-white photo of Trump with a raised fist and a cap that reads, “Make America Great Again.”

The print bears a striking resemblance to Taylor Swift’s iconic Eras tour poster, which later appeared on her own merchandise.

Swift’s poster had the exact same layout and color scheme as Trump’s new merchandise, and he also used the same font beneath the collection of striking images.

TeamTrump’s message urges “all Swifties for Trump” to order their T-shirts through the Trump National Committee website, where they are being sold for donations of up to $1,000.

According to the website, more than 181,000 people have already made a donation, which starts at $45, and in return they received the Taylor Swift knockoff T-shirt.

But Swifties on the X platform have criticized Trump for his antics, with some even calling for the singer to be sued.

One fan wrote: ‘I hope you get sued in the next second. He’s almost into his jobless little b**** era.’

Another said: ‘You probably thought you were safe because the shirt is parody (which it is), but you’ve made yourself legally vulnerable by using her name in the text of the tweet. Enjoy the trial. And before you try to delete the tweet, I took a screenshot.’

“This is a disgrace to a shirt. I hope they take everything Donald has for infringing. GET HIM!” commented a third.

Someone else said, “I’m looking forward to Trump’s new era. I’ve heard it called the ‘lawsuit era.'”

This comes after Trump also recently came under fire for accusing Haitian migrants of “eating pets” in Springfield, Ohio. The unsubstantiated claim first emerged on social media.

“In Springfield, they eat the dogs. The people who came here eat the cats,” the former president said. “They eat the pets of the people who live there.”

Kamala Harris was heard to mutter, “What? This is unbelievable,” before adding, “what extremes,” and laughing, during Tuesday’s presidential debate.

ABC News debate moderator David Muir joined the discussion, saying, “I just want to clarify here, you mentioned Springfield, Ohio. And ABC News contacted the city manager there. He told us that there have been no credible reports of specific claims of pets being abused, injured or mistreated by individuals.”

It was one of the most dramatic moments of a monumental night in the 2024 race, as Harris landed a coveted sponsorship from Taylor Swift and was universally declared the winner of the showdown.

The megastar made the shocking announcement on Instagram after the ABC confrontation, saying Democrats want to “execute babies in their ninth month.”

In a race that could be decided by narrow margins, Swift’s endorsement could have a major impact on momentum with less than eight weeks until Election Day.

Trump’s campaign dismissed the endorsement, claiming it was more evidence that Swift is part of the “Democratic elite.”
