Donald Trump campaign aide mysteriously deletes post about Olivia Nuzzi’s alleged affair with RFK Jr.
Senior campaign adviser Corey Lewandowski quickly deleted a post sharing a sensational report alleging that journalist Olivia Nuzzi had had an online affair with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
Lewandowski, who partially managed Trump’s 2016 campaign and rejoined him this summer, shared an article from Status News headlined, “Olivia Nuzzi on leave from New York Magazine over RFK affair.”
That happened Thursday night shortly before the star correspondent told DailyMail.com that “the nature of the communication between me and a former reporter became personal” after she visited his home for a feature story. She said the relationship never became physical, but the magazine has suspended her.
Trump’s longtime adviser likely couldn’t resist the opportunity to settle a grudge, perhaps without realizing it would reflect poorly on the Trump campaign.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has endorsed Donald Trump and suspended his independent bid for president. Just this week, the vaccine skeptic said he is helping Trump select nominees for the Food and Drug Administration, the National Institutes of Health and other health-related agencies.

Lewandowski may have had a bone to pick when he shared the news about a reporter he once met. threatened with a lawsuit.
He made the threat in 2018 after Nuzzi entered his office while he was reporting on a story about glamorous former Trump adviser Hope Hicks.
She entered Lowendowski’s home, where the company Turnberry Solutions was located. She says that after knocking on the door, she saw that it was open, and that’s when she walked in and took a photo.

Nuzzi is said to have met RFK Jr. when he was doing a profile of him for New York magazine
RFK Jr.’s spokesman said he met Nuzzi only once, which resulted in a “hit piece”
She told the Columbia Journalism Review about how she reported the story, including an anecdote about how she texted her boyfriend while at the office and was told it “probably wasn’t legal.”
“I can confirm that I did not give her permission to enter my office,” Lewandowski told Fox News at the time. Lewandowski apparently lived above the lobbying firm.
DailyMail.com has contacted Lewandowski and the Trump campaign about the post and why it was removed.
Lewandowski deleted the post a few hours after it was posted, Medialite reported.
Lewandowski decided to delete the post sharing the article because the story had attracted political attention in Washington. There was new attention to Nuzzi’s earlier tweet in which she shared a magazine article and said, “Why does Hollywood think female reporters sleep with their sources?” She denies having physical contact with RFK, Jr., a Trump supporter.
