Donald Trump arrives at son Barron’s high school graduation in Florida after his New York court case was put on hold so he could attend

Donald Trump put his legal troubles aside for the morning as he flew to Florida on Friday to see youngest son Barron graduate from high school.

The former president was joined by his wife Melania to watch their 18-year-old son and his 2024 classmates enjoy their big day at the exclusive Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach.

Families took their seats in the stands under the watchful eye of two police snipers sitting above the public address box. U.S. Marshalls and deputies from the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office patrolled the highway and taped off the sidewalk as they prepared for Trump’s arrival.

The unprecedented high school graduation scenes didn’t stop the smartly dressed attendees from enjoying themselves as they chatted and smiled with the school band playing Verdi in the background.

The president and his 10-vehicle Secret Service motorcade entered the school within minutes and into a heavily guarded exit directly behind the football field.

There was a brief glimpse of Trump, in a dark suit, white shirt and blue tie, which drew applause from the crowd.

He took a seat at the very front of the stands, next to Melania, dressed in a navy blue blazer and straw hat, and her father Viktor Knavs.

Barron’s years at the elite private school in West Palm Beach have been shrouded in secrecy, with the former First Lady determined to keep her 6-foot-2 son out of the spotlight.

But Oxbridge was thrust into the spotlight last month when Trump, 77, asked New York Judge Juan Merchan to pause his “hush money trial” so he could attend the 10am ceremony.

Merchan ultimately granted the former president’s request for a day off, paving the way for today’s flying visit. The trial will resume on Monday.

Trump was scheduled to travel to St. Paul, Minnesota later Friday for a 5 p.m. fundraising dinner, but campaign aides told DailyMail.com there was never any possibility he would skip Barron’s graduation.

Oxbridge, a preparatory school for grades six through 12, was founded in 2011 by billionaire William Koch, the brother of GOP megadonors Charles and David Koch.

Classes at the 54-hectare site were canceled for the day so staff could focus ‘solely’ on the ceremony, with the media excluded from attendance and entry strictly limited to ‘invitation only’.

The families of the 116 graduates were asked to arrive several hours early to undergo a Secret Service security screening before taking their seats on the football field.

With Friday’s graduation ceremony behind us, attention will now turn to Barron’s next steps.

DailyMail.com revealed last week how the youngest of Trump’s five children has quietly grown into an endearing young man who has leading conservatives purring about his charm and political acumen.

Despite never saying a word in public, he is a staunch supporter of the Trump 2024 campaign and has even expressed interest in a career in politics, insiders say.

One of them even went so far as to tip him for a future presidential candidate, adding, “Why not?” He has the Trump genes.”

Earlier this month, it was reported that Barron would be a Florida delegate at July’s Republican National Convention in Milwaukee until Melania, 54, announced that her son was “honored” by the selection but was focusing on “previous commitments.”

Trump told Megyn Kelly last year that Barron was “considering” attending his alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania, where his older children Ivanka, Donald Trump Jr. and Tiffany also studied.

Barron was also rumored to be considering NYU in a move that could see Melania move back to New York with him — but nothing has been confirmed.

More recently, Trump hinted at a May 9 event at his Mar-a-Lago Palm Beach residence that the recent unrest on liberal college campuses could play a role in his son’s decision-making.

‘Right now he’s doing great. He has great grades. He will soon go to university. And we look at some colleges that are different [than] that was two months ago,” he said in a video on X.

DailyMail.com reported last month that ultra-protective Melania Barron is slowly giving more space “to be his own man” after turning 18 in March.

Barron has used his newfound freedom to woo a group of leading conservative figures, recently inviting Iranian-American business magnate Patrick Bet-David to Mar-a-Lago.

Bet-David, who was worth an estimated $450 million, was impressed enough to tell listeners of his PDB podcast afterwards that his young host was “sharp, funny, sarcastic, tough – not weak.”

Also invited to last month’s intimate dinner were Trump-supporting MMA fighter Colby Covington, entrepreneur Justin Waller — a business associate of controversial internet personality Andrew Tate — and 17-year-old Bo Loudon, Barron’s best friend.

He is said to be “inseparable” from Bo, a rising conservative influencer who is the son of TV personality Dr. Gina Loudon and former Missouri State Senator John William Loudon.

Barron, Trump’s fifth child and Melania’s first, was born the year after their wedding in 2005. He spent his early childhood in New York, where he attended several prestigious private schools.

Before moving to Washington, DC Barron took his entire class from Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School on a tour of the White House in 2017, the year his father took office.

After moving to the White House, he attended St. Andrew Episcopal School in Maryland, played for the D.C. United under-12 soccer team and met the franchise’s biggest star, former England striker Wayne Rooney.

Melania made sure her young son stayed out of the spotlight during Trump’s presidency, although he was occasionally targeted by trolls on social media for allegedly looking bored or withdrawn.

Rosie O’Donnell was forced to retract a 2016 tweet that speculated without evidence that Barron, then 10, might be autistic.

Even Chelsea Clinton defended him when a 2017 Daily Caller article criticized the youngster’s attire as too casual for the commander-in-chief’s son.

“It’s high time that the media and everyone leave Barron Trump alone and give him the private childhood he deserves,” the former first daughter pleaded.

Since 2021, Barron has lived in Florida and attends the Oxbridge Academy, where the privacy of the 610 mostly wealthy students is so strictly guarded that staff have to sign non-disclosure agreements.

The school boasts that 100 percent of its students are admitted to four-year colleges and universities, with graduates winning places at Cornell, UCLA, Vanderbilt and Howard University, among others.

Although small by Florida standards, it boasts 24 varsity teams, equestrian and sailing programs, and an aviation school with a full-motion flight simulator.

Barron is not on the list, but he is known to have a keen interest in football and computers.

There was a rare sighting of the Trump stalwart on the school’s Instagram page on April 12, when he was spotted in the back of a photo taken at a Monte Carlo-themed prom for his fellow class of 24 students.
