Donald Trump attends college football game between South Carolina and Clemson as the former US President gets a loud ovation from fans at Williams-Brice Stadium
Donald Trump received a warm welcome from fans in South Carolina as he took his seat at Williams-Brice Stadium for the school’s rivalry football game with Clemson.
The 5-6 Gamecocks host the 7-4 Tigers in the conservative-leaning state that former US President Trump won in both 2016 and 2020. But while the majority of South Carolina voters are Republicans, USC happens to be in Richland County. who overwhelmingly voted for President Joe Biden in 2020 and Hillary Clinton in 2016.
And footage from the stadium shows Trump receiving cheers from the crowd as he prepares to watch the game unfold from the stands.
