Donald Trump arrives at the Miami Grand Prix days after having his $250,000-a-ticket fundraiser shut down by race officials

Donald Trump has arrived at the Miami Grand Prix – days after raising a $250,000-per-ticket fundraiser for the race that was halted by officials.

The former president and Republican candidate was in Florida on Sunday, joining a star-studded crowd of celebrities as Formula 1 visited the city again.

He returned to his Florida headquarters on Friday evening after spending another week in New York during his hush money trial against Stormy Daniels.

Trump, who also attended the LIV Golf event in Miami last month, was pictured in McLaren’s garage deep in conversation with the team’s CEO Zak Brown.

Trump’s presence at the race comes after organizers halted his plans for a fundraiser because he violated the terms of his hospitality suite agreement by planning to raise money for a federal election.

His friend Steven Witkoff, who recently testified on Trump’s behalf in New York, purchased the suite in his name for fundraising purposes.

‘It has come to our attention that you may be using your Paddock Club Rooftop Suite for a political purpose, namely raising money for a federal election at $250,000 per ticket, in clear violation of the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami License Agreement Grand Prix suite, ‘Read a cease and desist letter.

‘If this is true, we regret to inform you that your suite license will be revoked, you will not be allowed to attend the race at any time and we will refund you the full amount.’

Race officials declined to comment publicly on the story, with Witkoff telling the New York Post that “this is definitely fake,” but declined to comment further.

The fundraiser was reportedly set up by a Hollywood, Florida, golf club owned by Witkoff’s real estate company.

Club members recently received an invitation to the fundraiser, and while Trump was not mentioned by name, Post sources who inquired were told the event was for the Republican candidate and would cost $250,000.

Trump wasn’t the only big name in attendance. Patrick Mahomes and wife Brittany were at the track while Travis Kelce was also expected at the race.

A host of NBA players such as Kevin Durant and Jimmy Butler were there, along with pop singer Camilla Cabello.

Trump attacked prosecutors and threatened to send him to prison on Saturday evening, accusing Democrats of running a “Gestapo government.”

He also branded Special Prosecutor Jack Smith a “f**king a**hole” as he addressed a $40,000-a-head fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago.

About 400 donors and lawmakers attended the luncheon at Trump’s Florida estate, which he returned to on Friday evening after the first week of his hush money trial in New York.

In his 90-minute speech, he said he was surprised he was the first ex-president to be criminally charged and blamed his 2020 defeat on Democrats who “rigged and stole that election.” And we won’t let that happen again,” said a tape leaked to the channel WashingtonPost.

Trump also teased his audience about who he would choose as his vice presidential running mate and praised embattled House Speaker Mike Johnson, ordering Republican critics to “leave him alone.”

He mocked Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis as “a real beauty,” and joked that his daughter-in-law Lara would not have married his son Eric if she had known her future father-in-law was facing prison.

“Once I got charged, I said, holy s***, I just got charged. I have been charged,” he said. “In fact, Lara, if she knew I had been charged, she probably wouldn’t have joined the family.
