Don Jr. breaks silence on Kimberly Guilfoyle split and her move to Greece
Donald Trump Jr. has lost no love with his ex-fiance Kimberly Guilfoyle after DailyMail.com revealed their split.
President-elect Donald Trump announced Tuesday that Guilfoyle, 55, will move abroad as his ambassador to Greece next year.
“I am so proud of Kimberly,” Don Jr., 46, wrote on X in light of the news. “She loves America and has always wanted to serve the country as an ambassador.”
“She will be a great leader for America First,” he added.
Guilfoyle got engaged to Trump’s eldest son on December 31, 2020, but it wasn’t made public until over a year later in January 2022.
She was “blindsided” when footage emerged of her fiancé dining with another woman, Bettina Anderson, 38, earlier this fall.
A source familiar with the family told DailyMail.com: ‘There is no Kimberly and Don anymore – at least not romantically.’
‘Their engagement hasn’t officially been called off yet. They waited until after the inauguration to make the announcement.”

Just hours later, President-elect Trump delivered a glowing reminder of his years knowing Guilfoyle, a former Fox News host who was married to California Governor Gavin Newsom when he was mayor of San Francisco.
He revealed that Guilfoyle will serve as ambassador to Greece in his next administration and will transfer to Athens.
Guilfoyle studied international law and entered public life as a prosecutor in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
She was an anchor on Fox News for many years.
She first came into Trump’s orbit because of her relationship with the president-elect’s son.

“Her extensive experience and leadership in law, media and politics, along with her keen intellect, make her uniquely qualified to represent the United States and safeguard its interests abroad,” Trump said in a Truth Social mail.
“Kimberly is ideally suited to maintain strong bilateral relations with Greece and advance our interests in areas ranging from defense cooperation to trade and economic innovation.”
Don Jr. and Guilfoyle started dating in 2018.
