Domino’s worker Lachlan Craig Beelitz from Mount Gambier who sexually abused a girl learns his fate
A former Domino’s supervisor will spend up to five years behind bars after he sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl and wired her $200 in return.
Lachlan Craig Beelitz, 23, was sentenced in the Adelaide District Court on Monday after pleading guilty to unlawful sexual intercourse and procuring a child for sexual activity
The court heard the Beelitz, from Mount Gambier in South Australia, used Snapchat to communicate with his victim and asked the teenage girl to send him explicit photos.
Beelitz then drove the teen to a parking lot to perform a sex act on him.
The court heard the pair met at least twice more, with Beelitz making the girl perform sex acts on him.

In return, he would give the young girl cash and cigarettes.
On another occasion, Beelitz picked up the victim and they had sex.
“During that sexual intercourse you gave your victim your phone so that she could take pictures of herself partially nude,” Judge Michael Durrant said. Adelaide Advertiser reported.
“Later that morning you took her home and wired her $200 in exchange for the sex and the photos.”
The court heard Beelitz had previously been a supervisor at Domino’s for three years before changing careers to become a tree logger.
Domino’s Australia shared a statement under a social media post about Beelitz’s case, saying it has a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment, abuse or discrimination.
“As soon as we became aware of these allegations, the individual was terminated,” the report said.
‘This store now has a new owner.
“We pride ourselves on being a supportive and safe workplace for thousands of team members across Australia, and will continue to make it abundantly clear that this type of behavior will not be tolerated.”
Although the court found that Beelitz did not meet the diagnostic criteria for pedophilia, it was determined that his offenses were caused by poor judgment and impulse control in controlling his sexual urges.

‘Children are among the most vulnerable members of our society. The courts must protect children, especially young girls, from their own immaturity and naivety,” Judge Durrant said.
“I must stop you and others from depriving children of sexual gratification and causing them lifelong harm.”
Beelitz was sentenced to five years and four months in prison, with a non-parole period of two years and eight months.
His sentence was backdated to February 12.
