Located in the upscale suburb of Hamilton, 6.7km from the Brisbane CBD, the wealthy retailer bought the five-bedroom, four-bathroom home for $7.25 million in 2018.

There is also a reception room, gym, Gaggenau kitchen and home office, while the lower level is fully self-contained and has a private entrance.

The sale of Meji’s house in Hamilton comes later news.com reported earlier this month that the pizza king recently splurged $15 million on a penthouse in Brisbane.

Located in the Luminare tower in Newstead, Meji’s new platform is yet to be completed.

Meanwhile, the publication reports that the cashed-out retailer also bought another two-bedroom apartment within the new complex for $1.5 million.

Meij began his career in the pizza business as a delivery boy in 1987, working his way up to become Domino’s Australia operations manager.

In May 2005, Meij led Domino’s to become Australia’s first publicly traded pizza chain on the Australian Stock Exchange.

He celebrated 30 years with the company in 2017.
