Dominik Szoboszlai was denied a first goal since his £60 million summer move to Liverpool after Leicester goalkeeper Mads Hermansen blocked his long-range effort with a diving header.
Szoboszlai came on as a half-time substitute during Liverpool’s 4–0 win over the Foxes at the Singapore National Stadium.
The Hungarian midfielder showed his talent with a daring effort as the game reached the hour mark.
Szoboszlai regained possession from Harry Winks halfway through the ball, after which the 22-year-old saw Hermansen off his line.
The Reds’ summer acquisition quickly took a hit and shot from the center circle towards the goal.

A regressing Hermansen responded impressively to Szoboszlai’s effort, with the Leicester goalkeeper adapting well to connect with a diving header.
A summer signing from Brondby, Hermansen was relieved to see the ball bounce wide of goal to keep the score at 3-0.
It turned out to be only a brief stoppage for Leicester, with Szoboszlai contributing to Liverpool’s fourth goal of the game.
The Hungarian’s corner kick was fired into goal by Joel Matip, while winger Ben Doak turned from close range at the back post.
Doak’s effort contributed to first-half goals from Darwin Nunez, Bobby Clark and Diogo Jota.
Szoboszlai was brought in from last for Liverpool, with the midfielder playing 30 minutes on his return from an ankle strike earlier in the pre-season.
