The blonde bombshell was thrilled for the Single Ladies singer as she penned a note supporting her venture into a new genre.

“Wow, I just heard Jolene,” the country icon began. “Beyoncé is giving that girl trouble and she deserves it.”

This comes as the R&B star made major tweaks to the original lyrics, giving the song an edgy and modern feel.

In Beyonce’s version, she instead sang, “You are incomparably beautiful / Takes more than beauty and seductive looks / To come between a family and a happy man.”

“Jolene, I’m a woman too/The games you play ain’t nothing new/So you don’t want no heat with me, Jolene,” she further warned.

As the star transitioned back into the chorus, the lyrics also included, “I’m warning your wife, find your own man/Jolene, I know I’m a queen, Jolene/I’m still a Creole banjee b* **h out Louisiana (Don’t Try Me).”

Towards the end of the second verse, Beyonce added lyrics to show that she had faith that her man would stay by her side.

“Good deeds come in like falling weeds/I sleep well and happily, ’cause you can’t dig up our planted seeds/I know my husband will be by my side and breathe my gentle breeze.”

The cover ended with a bridge as the singer was joined by a choir as they exclaimed, “I crossed those valleys, highs and lows and everything in between / Good deeds roll in like tumbling weeds.”

Beyonce then briefly sang in her husband’s perspective, singing, “I’ma stand by her/She gon’ stand by me/Jolene.” I’ma stand by him/He gon’ stand by me Jolene.’

Earlier this month, Dolly hinted that the singer may have covered Jolene and gave her thoughts during an interview with Knox News.

‘Well, I guess so! I think she recorded Jolene and I think it will probably be on her country album, which I’m really excited about,” the Here You Come Again hitmaker said.

Dolly added: “Just someone who can take my little songs and turn them into powerhouse songs

She also gushed, “I love her! She is a beautiful girl and a great singer. We’ve sent messages back and forth over the years.”

“And she and her mom were like fans, and I was always touched that they were fans, and I always thought she was great.”

In 2022, Parton had expressed a wish for Beyoncé to cover her song Jolene. While on The Daily Show with Trevor Noahshe said, “I think she’s fantastic and beautiful, and I love her music.”

“I would love to hear Jolene play it in a big way, kind of like how Whitney (Houston) did my I Will Always Love You.”

Dolly added: “Just someone who can take my little songs and turn them into powerhouse songs. That would be a great day in my life if she ever did Jolene.”
