Dolly Parton, 77, shows off her trim figure after revealing she NEVER hits the gym

Dolly Parton looked very slim on stage in Texas on Tuesday.

The Jolene hitmaker flaunted a petite waist and slender legs while wearing a black form-fitting outfit.

The 77-year-old country music sensation – who is about to team up with Elton John – attended the Dolly! All Access Pop-Up Store preview at The Star in Frisco.

This comes after she told the Wall Street Journal last year that she hates going to the gym and sticking to a tough workout routine.

“I’m not big on going to the gym… and I’m picky about who I sweat with,” she told the newspaper.

But she does train occasionally.

“I create my own joy exercises,” she also told WSJ. “I grew up in the Pentecostal church where we used to yell and jump around a lot.

“I keep my engine running in the morning when I’m just shouting around the house to praise the Lord.”

Dolly said her exercises are “easy” and “joyful.”

“Do something for a reason instead of yourself,” she said. “That’s the extent of my practice. I’m not a big fan of going to the gym… and I’m picky about who I sweat with.”

Dolly shared in her documentary, Dolly Parton: The Queen of Country, that she was a yo-yo dieter.

“Dietin’ Dolly would go on liquid proteins, Scarsdale, Atkins, the water diet, then I would binge, diet, gain weight, start all over again,” she said in the documentary.

Now she follows a low carb plan.

“I usually try to have some homemade egg salad in the house because I like to have something quick and easy,” she said.

“During the week I eat things like egg salad on toast with tomato and sometimes a bagel with cream cheese, cucumber and tomatoes.”

Then on weekends she eats “anything I want.”

In April, Parton announced a limited edition pop-up store, Dolly! All Access, during ACM Awards Week (May 9-14, 2023) at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

Dolly has brought together her brand partners for a “custom, curated shopping experience,” according to her website.

Dolly joins Garth Brooks as they host the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards streaming May 11 at 7pm CT on Prime Video from The Ford Center in Frisco.

Dolly! All Access offers the pre-order option of the Dolly Parton Rockstar album with red carpet step and repeat entry.
