Doorbell footage captured the moment an alleged Dollar General Manager drove her car into a man who was reportedly on the run after stealing from her store.

The incident, which occurred on May 11 at around 11:20 a.m., shows the man on a bicycle riding down a sidewalk in Fresno, California, when out of nowhere a woman riding a white Honda crashed into him and knocked him off his bike. hit.

The impact deformed the bike’s front wheel and it fell down, scattering the goods in the bike basket into the driveway of a person equipped with a Ring doorbell – which recorded both video and audio of the entire episode.

As the two scold each other, they both collect the spills – the woman picks up the detached bicycle basket and places it in the car along with other items, while the man holds as many items as possible in his arms.

DailyMail.com wrote to Dollar General to confirm that the woman is indeed a Dollar General employee in Fresno, but did not receive an immediate response.

The Fresno City Police Department could not confirm details about the incident, but did say a “call” had been made between dispatchers and officers regarding the incident.

Eric, owner of the Ring doorbell camera that recorded the video, said he had not heard from police.

After the man falls off the bike, the woman gets out and aggressively confronts him. The pair can be heard exchanging barbs as they ironically collect the dropped items with relative composure.

As soon as the man gets up, he tells her, “F**king b***h.”

“Who do you think steals stuff from my store, b***h,” the woman says in response.

The two continue to berate each other and then the woman picks up the damaged bike and throws it towards the road.

“You’re not living the life I’m living, b***h,” he tells her.

The two continue to spar verbally, though much of the dialogue is hard to make out.

But the alleged thief is heard telling her that the situation is “not that serious” and that other people are also stealing from stores.

When the woman gets back into her car after recovering about half of the goods, the conflict escalates somewhat when the man starts threatening her with legal action.

“You go to jail for that, b***h, be sure of that,” he says. “And I’m suing, b***h.”

“I need that money,” he adds.

The front wheel of the bicycle was damaged by the impact, forcing the man to gather as much gear as possible and hold it in his hands

Cameras captured the incident from multiple angles. In this, the alleged thief can be seen driving down the sidewalk, while the woman drives her car directly to the right. Seconds later she crossed his path and took him down

The clip has divided viewers – some supported the manager in her determination to recover the stolen goods, but others criticized the violent way she used her car to take down the man.

“Attack with a deadly weapon. On film,” wrote one user decrying the woman’s actions.

This is not for the employee to do. In fact, the law favors the offender more than hers. Stores don’t want liability for injured employees or property damage as a result of their employee hitting a shoplifter,” said another.

Some were clearly in favor of the stubborn woman.

“Employee of the Year there,” said one.

“If I were rich I would send people like her boatloads of money,” said another.
