Doja Cat sparks huge backlash after posting a snap in a jumper that features a graphic image of ‘Neo-Nazi’ Sam Hyde

Doja Cat sparked backlash from her Instagram followers after she posted a photo of herself wearing a sweater with the face of controversial alt-right comedian Sam Hyde.

The singer (27) took to her Instagram on Saturday to post a series of photos of herself in the back of her car.

However, fans weren’t too impressed with the pictures as the Paint The Town Red hitmaker donned a black jumper with a large print of the face of Sam Hyde, who is notorious for his public pranks and neo-Nazi beliefs about the internet.

At the moment, the beauty can be seen striking a sultry pose in the back of her car as she dons a silver diamond tiara.

Rap Alert also took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to tweet a snap of Doja wearing the jersey, and followers quickly took to the comments section to slam the singer.

Backlash: Doja Cat faced serious backlash from her Instagram followers after she posted a photo of herself wearing a sweater with Neo Nazi Sam Hyde’s face printed on it

One follower tweeted: ‘I can’t even enjoy her music in peace, she’s always doing something.’

Another also joked: ‘I think she wants her career to end’.

While another added: ‘I’m so over her antics’.

After Doja posted the photos on her Instagram, the singer was blasted by followers for what she was wearing.

Doja then deleted the photos from her Instagram account before replacing them with a more close-up snap, hiding the image on her sweater.

Fans then quickly rushed to the comments section to slam the singer again.

One follower said: ‘Why are you hiding your shirt? Embarrassed that you are wearing something with a nazi on it? :/’

And another quipped, ‘girl we saw you wearing a nazi shirt’.

Oh dear! The singer, 27, took to her Instagram on Saturday to post a series of photos of herself in the back of her car

Meanwhile, another added: ‘The fact that some of you are defending her on that shirt is beyond me.’

Doja Cat has become one of the most controversial singers of recent times, after releasing songs like Paint The Town Red and Demons, which many say are ‘satan-inspired’, and now the singer has come under fire again.

The backlash from followers comes after Doja flashed her cleavage and midriff in a sizzling new Instagram snap from her collaboration with Skechers on Tuesday.

Modeling a sexy all-black ensemble, the rapper showed off a pair of chunky, shiny sneakers from her Doja’Lite collection.

At the moment, the singer sported a low-cut, scoop-neck bra top, paired with a long-sleeved shrug.

Uh oh: Fans couldn’t hide their dismay at Doja’s wardrobe choice, with one branding her ‘pathetic’

She also donned a high-waisted, pleated mini dress in the photo as she posed on a chrome and white leather chair.

It comes just as her latest album, Scarlet – which she dropped last month and was celebrated by lounging on the beach in a tiny thong bikini – hit number 4 in the charts.

In the new photo from her collaboration with the footwear company, she showcased a pair of black sneakers with her own reimagined design.

She wore the shoes with thick leg warmers as well as the matching fingerless gloves.

She also donned a black baseball cap over her platinum blonde buzzcut.

She looked glamorous in a pair of large hoop earrings, a beaded choker as well as a cross pendant necklace.

For makeup, she rocked a light gray eyeshadow look with a sultry cat eye winged liner.

Not impressed: Doja then deleted the photos from her Instagram account before replacing them with a more close-up snap, hiding the image on her sweater. Fans then quickly rushed to the comments section to slam the singer again

Finally, Doja finished off her look with a cool-toned lip gloss.

Last week, she also shared a video on her Instagram announcing that her Skechers sneaker collection is available for purchase.

In the clip, she dons a variety of black and white ensembles, including the aforementioned look.

In the clip, she posed on the same chair, which eventually burst into flames.

The cool collaboration comes as her album, Scarlet, continues to climb the ranks Billboard 200 chart and was awarded the highest-ranking debut.

She released her fourth studio album, Scarlet – which features her hit single Paint The Town Red – on 22 September.

Who is Sam Hyde?

Sam Hyde has publicly shown support for alt-right and neo-Nazi groups. Hyde donated $5,000 to far-right content creator Andrew Anglin of the Daily Stormer in June 2017.

Anglin set up a fundraiser to fight the Southern Poverty Law Center’s lawsuit, which alleged that the Daily Stormer was organizing trolls to harass a Jewish woman from Montana.

In 2015, Sam Hyde became a 4Chan meme after he intentionally misidentified himself as the gunman responsible for multiple mass shootings such as the Parkland Las Vegas shooting and the Orlando shooting among others.

The photo of the controversial internet figure was also seen in the New York shooter’s May 2022 manifesto. The latter made headlines after he shot 10 people in Buffalo.

Reddit user u/Not_Grunge also said on the r/G59 forum that Hyde affiliated himself with neo-Nazis like Bertrand Spencer.

The Hope Not Hate website also revealed that he had been photographed with neo-Nazi Andrew Auernheimer in the past.

In August 2020, Hyde appeared on alt-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ podcast. That same year, he was featured in an election broadcast with white nationalist Nick Fuentes.

In October 2017, it was claimed that Sam Hyde was dating a 15-year-old girl named Marky. It was also alleged that the former was physically abusive towards the teenager. Graphic images showing evidence that he may have punched her in the face, causing bleeding, have also made it online.

In other cases, Hyde was repeatedly misogynistic and threatened women. In a December 2019 video titled Beating Women, he said that women who pursue STEM careers are ‘f**king retard b***h dyke(s’).
