Doja Cat SLAMS critics she calls ‘phonies’ while explaining she never ‘disses’ rappers she respects like Cardi B… after altering Scarlet album cover

Doja Cat has spoken out against trolls leaving nasty messages on her Instagram comments.

On Friday, the 27-year-old singer took to Insta Stories to give her opinion. The star, born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, explained that she supports stars she admires, such as Cardi B and Nicki Minaj, but has no respect for online haters.

“People don’t want to accept that I disapprove of them, so they try to pin it on Card Nicki and Meg and every other female rapper,” the artist said.

The Victoria’s Secret model then added, “I don’t diss rappers, I diss critics.” Stay bored. Keep reaching.”

That was just the beginning of her posts.

Cat also said, “I don’t diss people I’m inspired by, I don’t diss people I look up to.”

The cover girl went on to say, “I don’t diss people who don’t attack and harass me every day.

“YOU do. Not her. They do not. You are all the problem,” referring to her social media followers.

Then she spoke down to her haters.

“TO BE 100% CLEAR because I know you all need me to talk REEEEAL SLOOOOOOW for you guys; I’m not insulting anyone but the goddamn fakes in my comment sections.”

This post comes just after she announced a change to her upcoming album Scarlet.

Her album cover was very similar to the album cover of the German band Chaver. Both were designed by Portland-based artist Dusty Ray.

And both albums will be released on September 22.

“Updated cover,” Doja captioned the image, which shows a spider with pearls on its head and belly.

She doesn't diss:

Earlier this week, Cat announced that her new album, Scarlet, will be released on September 22.

The star took to Instagram to reveal the cover art for her 2021 Planet Her sequel, a red tarantula.

This summer, Doja released singles Attention and the viral sensation Paint The Town Red, despite the star recently vowing to stop making “tasty, marketable and marketable” music.

The Say So hitmaker claimed all her future music will be “authentic” after channeling all the “anger” she felt towards the music industry into an eclectic album that “mixed rap, soul and R’n’B music with jazz’ crossed.

In a cover interview with V magazine — in which the star exposed the nipple in a mesh top — she said, “I’ve had seizures all my career because I made music that didn’t allow me to have a mental release.

“I’ve made music that’s tasty, marketable, and marketable, which is what got me where I am today.

“These upcoming projects will be very different from anything I’ve done and I’m excited about that.

“I don’t care if people aren’t.”

Doja added: ‘I made pop music. At the moment I make rap, soul and R’n’B music with jazz elements.’

The singer and rapper previously admitted that her last two albums were ‘cash grabs’.

The Kiss Me More hitmaker – who has been known to retract her social media statements – told millions of her followers that she would not be releasing “mediocre pop” and claimed that Planet Her and 2019’s Hot Pink were all about making money .

She also revisited an earlier post announcing that her new album would be called Hellmouth.

She tweeted, “Planet Her and Hot Pink were cash grabs and you all fell for it. now i can disappear somewhere and touch grass with my loved ones on an island, while you cry for mediocre pop. (sic)’

She added, “It’s not called hEllMoUth, it’s also called ‘First of All’ and yes, I’m revealing the album title now.” (sic)’

However, the title has yet to be confirmed.

Doja previously teased about a completely different project, telling Variety, “I want to explore punk. But not pop punk. I feel like we have enough pop punk artists right now. And if there must be more, let there be more, but I don’t think I’m the one to do it.

‘I want to discover more raw, unfiltered, hardcore punk. It’s just something I do for my own pleasure: get some drummers and guitarists together. And I don’t even know if that’s going to save it.’
