Doja Cat flashes her custom Chanel-shaped grill… after losing five of her six nominations at the MTV VMAs

Problematic pop star Doja Cat has spent the past two years transforming her pop polish into dark and edgy and on Monday she has flashed her latest favorite accessory: the diamond grill.

The 27-year-old Grammy winner relies exclusively on the ‘by appointment only’ New York father-son luxury jewelry brand Gabby Elan, which was co-founded in 1991 by Gabby and Elan Pinhasov.

Last Friday, Doja Cat (born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini) wore the brand’s $3K ‘Playboy Grillz’ on her upper teeth with a custom Chanel-shaped grille on her lower teeth.

On September 6, Valley Girl Gabby rocked Elan Jewelry’s $2,100 ‘Dazzling Diamond Spacer Grillz’ for Victoria’s Secret The Tour ’23 event at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Midtown Manhattan.

And last Tuesday, Doja Cat grinned on the red carpet of the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards in New Jersey while wearing her custom “Doja Dior Grillz.”

The Balut rapper took the stage at the Prudential Center in Newark to perform a medley of Attention, Paint The Town Red and Demons while surrounded by blood-soaked backup dancers.

Doja Cat ultimately lost three trophies – video of the year, artist of the year and best director – to powerful pop star Taylor Swift at the fan-voted awards ceremony.

The controversial crooner and Post Malone’s duet I Like You (A Happier Song) lost the best collaboration trophy to Karol G and Shakira’s duet TQG.

Doja Cat – who regularly insults her fans – also lost the M&M’s sponsored song of the summer trophy to Jungkook and Latto’s song Seven.

The only award the Central LA Area dropout won — best art direction for her music video Attention — went straight to Spencer Graves.

RCA/Kemosabe Records will officially release Doja Cat’s 15-track fourth studio album Scarlet this Friday.

The Attention singer was forced to change her album cover artwork after she was publicly shamed for trying to use Dusty Ray’s painting of a red spider (featured on German metallic hardcore trio Chaver’s new album Of Gloom) without the rights to secure.

Doja Cat – who has 68.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify – will be the next performer in the reboot of Victoria’s Secret fashion show The Tour 23, premiering on Amazon Prime Video on September 26.

Victoria’s Secret faced a huge reckoning that culminated in the association of L Brands Inc.’s former CEO Les Wexner with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and the Me Too movement and calls for more diversity.

The Tour 23 is not to be confused with the Beverly Hills Belter’s first headlining arena tour – the 24-date The Scarlet Tour, which kicks off Halloween night at San Francisco’s Chase Center.

Doja Cat – who almost quit the music industry a year ago – was previously forced to apologize for her very public use of homophobic slurs to attack rappers Tyler, The Creator and Earl Sweatshirt in 2015, and for hanging out in far-right chat rooms.
