A shirt-wearing dog taken from her “drunken” owner by police is now being “happy and cared for” by the woman’s family.

Pooch Mia was detained by police a week ago after they received a text message from a citizen concerned about her well-being.

They rushed to the scene and found the mutt dressed in a light blue shirt and on a red leash.

Officers say the owner was “drunk” and was not taking care of the Mia.

After checking the welfare officers decided to take the dog away from the drunk owner in Wolverhampton.
