An Australian dog walker who filmed himself deliberately dropping a client’s pet Doodle to the ground has been slammed by viewers for the sickening act.

Ryan, who runs a dog walking business called Luna Moon’s Pet Care on the Gold Coast, took the dog for a walk a few weeks ago.

He recorded a video, which has since been deleted, expressing his disdain for the dog breed while holding the Doodle in his arm.

‘What’s wrong with Doodles? Apart from everything,” he said.

The business owner then released the dog from his grasp before the dog fell to the ground.

The clip quickly went viral and sparked outrage among Australians, including the dog owner who accused Ryan of not doing his job properly.

‘What a disgusting way to treat my dog, pay for your services just to bash my dog ​​online. Great business model,” he wrote.

Ryan responded to the comments, asking the owner why he seemed bothered by what he thought was a seemingly innocent act.

‘Your dog? Can you please explain the problem here?’ he asked.

The dog owner accused Ryan of dropping the Doodle twice ‘from a height of five feet’ and urged him not to speak derogatorily about certain dogs just because he doesn’t like the way they are bred.

“Whether you agree with breeding them or not, you need to realize that there are people who are bothered by you talking negatively about their dog,” they wrote.

‘Very disappointed’.

Ryan apologized for what happened in a separate video posted to TikTok.

Despite the apology, many pet owners were unimpressed with the way he treated the Doodle.

“You should not drop any animal, regardless of breed,” one person wrote.

“Your behavior towards a client’s dog was absolutely disgusting,” wrote another.

“If that was my dog ​​you wouldn’t be physically able to continue this business,” a third added.

Others jumped to his defense, acknowledging his apology and that he had learned from his mistake.

“Y’all acting like he dropped the dog off a balcony, he admitted he messed up, now move on with your life,” one person wrote.

Ryan told Daily Mail Australia he regrets his actions and said he ‘made a big mistake’.

“I dropped the dog from a height higher than I should have, while making an ill-conceived video,” he said.

He explained that the video was not about the dog, but that the clip was critical of Doodles’ unethical breeding practices.

He said the client informed him they no longer wanted him to walk their dog and rejected suggestions there was malice involved in the filming of the video.

‘I made a video where I downplayed the height I dropped the dog from, which I shouldn’t have done. I deleted the video,” Ryan said.

He said he also offered to pay for any injuries the dog may have suffered after being informed by someone else that the owner had taken the Doodle to the vet.

Daily Mail understands the RSPCA has received complaints about the incident and told Ryan they were not concerned about his activities.

It is understood an official was monitoring Ryan’s work before he was asked to post another video on social media to explain that the RSPCA had spoken to him.
