‘This day has a new meaning’: Dog the Bounty Hunter reveals he recently discovered he has a secret SON who was born on the same date as his late wife Beth’s death
Dog the Bounty Hunter marked the fourth anniversary of his wife Beth’s death Monday with surprising news – that he recently discovered he has a secret son.
The 70-year-old reality star whose daughter recently lost her house in a fire introduced his new family member to his fans on Monday.
“For the past four years, this day has been a terrible reminder of one of the greatest losses of my life,” he began.
“But God redeemed this day when I discovered that my son Jon, whom I only recently met, was born on this day,” he wrote.
“So now, instead of sadness, this day has a new meaning. This is my son Jon and his wife Jodi.

The former felon shared a photo of his newfound progeny that looks a lot like his younger self.
Jon has muscular arms covered in tattoos and mutton sideburns.
He looked comfortable in jeans and a blue golf shirt.
Jon covered his head with a pageboy cap and wore a silver belt buckle.
The newfound son stood close to his wife, who looked beautiful in capri jeans and a black and white strapless blouse.
Dog, once the promoter, said, “Jon’s whole story is told in my new book, Nine Lives and Counting, out soon.”
He ended the announcement on a bittersweet note.
“For anyone who has suffered a terrible loss, please know that God restores and redeems.”

Ten months later, Dog, whose legal name is Duane Chapman, became engaged to Francie Frane.
They married in September 2021 in a small ceremony in Colorado.
