To unlock the post-credits scene, you need to collect three of them Mysterious circles around Thedas. Whatever the end game and ending are Dragon Age: The Veil Guard takes place in your game, the bonus scene with a lot of lore will play out as you collect them all.
Us Dragon Age: The Veil Guard guide will show you how to watch the post credit scene by getting all three Mysterious Circles.
Here’s how to unlock the secret post-credits scene in Dragon Age: The Veilguard
The secret ending here is separate from the three endings you can get into Dragon Age: The Veil Guard. It’s an extra post-credits scene that plays out regardless of which ending you get.
To get the post-credits scene, you need to find three Mysterious Circle codex entries that aren’t part of a side quest and don’t tell you that you’ve done anything special.
- Arlathan Forestby solving the Waterfront Glades chest puzzle
- The crossroadsby completing the side mission ‘Heart of Corruption’
- Necropolis Hallsby completing the side quest ‘Pinnacle of Its Kind’
Let’s break them all down below.
How to get the mysterious circle in Arlathan Forest
In the Glades on the water region of Arlathan Forestyou might see a glowing chest on an inaccessible island. To get there, you need to focus three (technically four) beams of light at three crystals on the island.
Work your way around the cliffs surrounding the island to find the three (four – one is a beam, you have to point at another beam to activate it) devices. They can all only point to one crystal, so there’s no trick to that.
Once all the beams are locked, a bridge will form leading you to the chest and, more importantly, to the first Mysterious circle.
How to get the mysterious circle at the intersection
“The heart of corruption” is a game-long quest that you can start early in your explorations of the world Crossroads.
First you will have to find several Champions and use them Essentials to unlock three plague doors at the intersection:
- Gate of deep sorrow – Desmal, Bloodbound to Elgar’nan in Treviso
- Gate of Pale Reflections — Amarell the unknown in the Hossberg wetlands
- Gate of Parched Hope — Entarus the re-inflamed in the Arlathan Forest
When you open those doors, you’ll have to fight three Revenues at the crossroads:
- Gate of Deep Sorrow — Felassan’s betrayal
- Gate of Pale Reflections — Massacre of the Pillars
- Gate of Parched Hope — Entarus the re-inflamed
And after all that, you’ll be up against a level 50 Revane Dragon under Beacon Island in the Crossroads. (If you’ve already completed Regret of the Dread Wolf, get some help from Mythal here.)
After the battle, head south to find your reward and a dock for the Caretaker’s boat. But before you go, look to the southeast. There is a ruined wall you can protect yourself from. Go up the stairs and go right to the Mysterious circle.
How to get the mysterious circle in Necropolis Halls
When you recruit Emmrich to your team in the Necropolis, you will pick up the quest ‘Restless Spirits’. Completing that will take you to a mysterious locked door and another quest. “Top of its kind.”
This quest requires you to defeat three demons: one in Arlathan Forest, one in Dock Town, and one in the Hossberg Wetlands. Once they are all defeated, you can return to Necropolis Halls and join the battle The Formless Onewho of course becomes an undead dragon.
Once The Formless One is defeated, there are three small alcoves outside the arena where you can collect loot. The one you’re looking for is to the southwest, to the left of the two main chests that are unlocked after you defeat the dragon.
Step into the alcove to see the Mysterious circle.
