Dodgers star Mookie Betts had to fight off a New York Yankees fan who tried to wrestle the ball out of his glove during a dramatic start to Game 4 of the World Series.
In the bottom of the first inning, Betts jumped toward the stands to catch a hit from Gleyber Torres, who had flown onto the wrong side of the foul line.
However, after the Los Angeles star grabbed the ball, a Yankees fan made a desperate attempt to grab the ball from him, while another held the player’s arm as he fought to fend them off.
You could see the fan grit his teeth as he wrestled Betts. The ball eventually flew out of his glove, but was ruled a catch by the officials.
