Doctors are outraged by Instagram sensation who is eating raw chicken EVERYDAY ‘until I get a tummy ache’

Doctors have warned against copying the bizarre behavior of a new Instagram star who has vowed to eat raw chicken every day until he falls ill.

The influencer – known only as John – has caused more than havoc eight million views on his Instagram videos where he consumes the uncooked meat in different styles.

One clip shows him washing a raw chicken breast with a cup of raw eggs. In another, he tries to make a chicken-based pizza, with the breast topped with tomato and cheese.

In another video, he washes chicken breasts with orange to make an unappetizing-looking smoothie.

It’s unclear why the social media star, who has 300,000 Instagram followers, embarked on the potentially deadly “experiment,” which he refers to as “eating raw chicken every day until my stomach aches (sic).”

Doctors have warned people not to try the stunt at home, saying it could lead to a serious infection

He is now on day 14 of the ‘experiment’ and has shared photos of himself drinking raw chicken blood and incorporating chicken breast into smoothies. Doctors have warned people not to try the stunt at home, saying it could lead to a serious infection

But doctors appear shocked by the stunt and warn that eating raw chicken could be fatal due to the risk of contamination with a number of deadly bacteria such as listeria, salmonella and E.coli.

About one in five people who contract listeria die from the disease.

Dr. Idrees Mughal – a surgeon based in Britain – posted a warning on one of his videos: ‘For the love of all that is healthy, DO NOT try what this man is doing.

“This is so stupid.”

An amateur chef also posted a warning, saying: ‘I just want to say you’re playing Russian roulette with your life.

‘Two of the biggest causes of death, Campylobacter and salmonella, pose a high risk here, especially with undercooked/raw chicken.

“This is not a science experiment… this is just stupidity.”

The influencer says he started eating raw chicken to alleviate symptoms such as back pain, dizziness and cystic acne – a severe form of inflammatory acne that causes pus-filled acne cysts deep under the skin.

There is no scientific evidence to support the theory that eating raw meat can help relieve back pain or have any benefits at all.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warns against eating raw meat, saying it could make someone sick due to the risk of germ contamination.

“Eating raw and undercooked meat and poultry can make you sick,” the body says.

“Poultry includes chicken and turkey. Pathogens commonly found in poultry include salmonella and campylobacter.’

This bacterium lives – just like listeria – in the intestines of animals, but can end up on raw pieces of meat during the slaughter process.

Companies wash meat products with chlorine to prevent contamination, but it doesn’t always destroy the insects.

In fact, the CDC estimates that about one in 25 bags of chicken in the grocery store is contaminated with Salmonella.

To eliminate this risk, chicken should be cooked to a minimum internal temperature of 74 degrees Celsius, which kills the bacteria, the body says.

It is also recommended to use separate cutting boards for meat and poultry to prevent contamination.

The influencer — who says he’s 6 feet tall and weighs 199 pounds — admitted that “one or two doctors” have called him stupid for the habit.

“Some people think this page is strictly a science experiment,” he said, “and some people think this is purely a meme.”

‘The answer is of course yes (to both).

“I’m actually Bill Nye, the raw chicken guy, and we’re here to entertain and see what happens.”

He added: ‘I will continue to do my best to eat raw birds and keep track of any findings.

‘So far I haven’t noticed anything bad.

‘Please don’t copy this. It may seem like a meme, but it’s also potentially dangerous – and that’s why it’s getting attention.”

The same person also went viral last year for posting content showing him eating other types of raw meat, including beef, kangaroo and veal.
