“We’re in the market for doing all the other things to stay healthy, when something as simple as hydration can have a huge impact on how you look, how you feel and your mood on every level.”
Cellular hydration is when your cells have enough water to keep your body functions working properly and keep you feeling energized and healthy.
‘Maintaining cellular hydration can help protect your cells so they can perform your body’s most important functions’ Abbott food scientist specializing in hydration explained Jennifer Williams.
‘In addition, chronic cellular dehydration is associated with undesirable health effects later in life, such as insulin resistance and hypertension, for example.’

“If we can use lemon-lime, cinnamon, cloves and Celtic raw sea salt, you can really change the texture of the water so that it’s hydrating,” she said.
For those struggling to consume enough water, Dr. Simoné said there are some helpful ways to incorporate drinking a glass into your daily routine.
She said adding a visual queue in a place or ex to an item you use regularly.
