According to Sixers coach Doc Rivers, Joel Embiid is in doubt to play in Game 1 of the second round vs. the Celtics, and even his status for Game 2 is up in the air.

Embiid ran during the first round vs. de Nets suffered a sprained LCL in his right knee.

And while Philly easily finished the series without him in Game 4, it looks like he’ll start the Eastern Conference Semifinals on the sidelines as well.

“There is no last,” Rivers told reporters on Saturday. “Obviously the doctors have been looking at him and he hasn’t done anything today.

“I’ll say this, but if I were a betting man I’d probably say questionable for at least Game 1. But we’ll see.

“He has to get better,” the coach added.

Nine days after injuring himself in Game 3 vs. the Nets, Embiid was unable to participate in practice, Rivers said, with Philly’s second-round pick against Boston on Monday.

The Sixers won an understaffed Nets team 4-0 in the first round, but Embiid was actually restrained by his high standards.

The presumptive MVP only scored 20 points per game in three games before dropping out in Game 4.

With the Hawks taking Boston to six games before being eliminated, the Sixers have not played in a week.

Boston wrapped things up in the first round with a 128-120 victory over the Hawks in Atlanta.
