Asus has a new cashback offer on its AMD RX 7000 series graphics cards in Europe, giving buyers some decent discounts.
Tom’s hardware reported that this is for people in the UK, as well as Austria, France and Germany, and that the offer applies to select Asus TUF Gaming (such as the excellent RX 7900 XTX) and Dual graphics cards from the RDNA 3 family.

The cashback amount is of course reduced proportionally as you go down the RX 7000 GPU hierarchy, but buyers of an RX 7600 (Dual) will still get a valuable £35 back on their purchase, or €40 (about $45 in the US, AU$70).
The extra is that in Germany you also receive a Gamesplanet voucher with the same value as the cashback as a bonus. and in Great Britain, you get an Asus RateMyGear reward (worth £25, so not as generous as in Germany). Unfortunately for French buyers, they only get the cashback, with no extra bonus.
Buyers should ensure they purchase from one of the select retailers running the promotion in these countries, and the offer expires at the end of the month, March 31. Please note that you can redeem your cashback until April 5, 2024, so don’t forget.

Analysis: Give other regions some cashback goodness
While cashback is clearly a welcome money-saving initiative, we still prefer an immediate discount – although we’re of course quibbling here. It’s good to see a price reduction, especially as there’s a decent chunk of discount on the RX 7800 XT – for example, the cashback is 12.5% off (plus the RateMyGear reward on top) in Britain, making he’s the leader of the pack in our roundup of the best GPUs is an even more tempting option.
Since this is a Europe-only deal, it seems a bit strange, and we wonder if a similar plan will apply to other regions. It seems a bit strange to miss the US here, so maybe that’s in the pipeline? We keep an eye on developments.
But of course, before you pull the trigger on an Asus RDNA 3 graphics card, it’s clearly worth considering competing products that could at any point be cheaper than the TUF or Dual you’re looking at, even after the cashback.
